Had this for three days and my puppy has already destroyed it by bending one of the wires and busting it apart.
Perfect for our minature Schnauzer; she loves how comfortable and cozy it is. My wife and I like the looks, and I liked the ease of assembly and end panels that can be reversed as I did (but was not advertised and should have been). The directions for the double side doors was not easily understood, but I mounted a plate to make that side solid anyway. Excellent and well made for much less cost than similar products; we are very happy with it and so is our little girl CeCe.
This item is very cheaply made. We had our puppy for one day and came home to him out of the crate and one of the bars broken.
I love this kennel! It not only works for our baby but also adds fashion to our living room decor!
I ordered this for a place for my small Yorkers to sleep but also fit into the living room. Worked perfectly. Easy to put together and looks great beside my couch.
I don’t know which is worse. The crate and the ability of my 1 year old pup figured out how to escape; or Chewy and it’s so called easy return policy where I am getting form letter emails back to back even though I have provided proof of return with signature.
Our Westie, Barney, had been sleeping in a smaller wire crate. We thought we'd give him a little more room for bedtime. At first, he was apprehensive, but soon became accustomed to it. He really seems to like it now. We bought the brown one. It's very dark and matches beautifully with our bedroom furniture. It's great to get rid of the old wire crate.
Nice and sturdy. Has smoke odor. Working with Chewy for solution. Can’t use it yet. May need to be returned. We will see if odor can be removed.
Worked out perfect for my English bulldog. Size is just right now it seems sturdy enough. The only issue I have is one of the side doors don't line up very well but that could be from when I assembled. Assembly was fairly easy other than this.
These crates are terrific!! I was very impressed with the quality. The assembly is very easy and can be done by one person. The crate is designed so that there are no exposed wood edges inside for dogs to chew on. I love that they have triple doors, making them useable in most configurations. Another bonus is that the grates go all the way to the floor of the crate. Most other brands have half solid doors and sides which prevents airflow. The crate is solid wood and extremely sturdy. One suggestion: if you have hard surface flooring, I would put small felt adhesive pads on the bottom corners to make moving them easier. They are pretty heavy. I don’t understand people giving this item a one star review when the problem was on their end. If you didn’t measure your dog, then it is not Chew’s fault that you ordered a crate was too small. If your dog has crate anxiety, that has nothing to do with the quality of the crate. Someone said the crate was loud. Either he got a defective one or he put it together wrong - I bought four of these and all of them are silent. Standard wire crates are much noisier.
