Good first toy to introduce my smart dog to the slider concept. (20 months old, 65 pounds). She enjoyed it, but she needed something more difficult quickly. I still alternate this occasionally with her more difficult slider toy, just to change it up, and she enjoys working her tongue around the grooves.
Definitely has slowed down her eating. She had no trouble figuring out how to get the food. Fast learner. Very pleased!!!
Our 5-month-old Golden figured this one out in a matter of minutes. He uses it occasionally, but it doesn't occupy him as long as I hoped it might.
They love it. They play with it every day. Definitely worth the money.
Really works! This slows my fast eater down a lot, which I know is best for his digestive system.
This is the best puzzle dish I've purchased so far. I have a large breed puppy and I've purchased other dishes and they were way too small to handle the amount of food I need to put in my puppy's dish. This holds about 2 full cups and it will occupy your dog while slowing his eating down. Very happy with this purchase.
It didn’t take Lafy Lola very long to figure this one out . Even tho Lady Lola knows how it works; she is still very excited to find treats or food.
So this isn't exactly a challenging puzzle, and not exactly a slow feed bowl either, it's somewhere in between. I have a Large 45+ lb, 5 month old high anxiety rescue puppy. Yes that pic is him at only 5 months. And this is his favorite way to eat his breakfast and dinner. A regular bowl just for whatever reason makes him sit and stare at the food and he won't eat. From day one I put food in this "maze bowl" (we call it) and he immediately slid the little parts around with his nose and thought it was entertaining enough to keep fishing for food in all the nooks and crannies. He's not a gobbler so I don't need this for slow feeding, he has a very large wide Rottweiler mix face, so he really has to use his long tongue to fish out food. It makes him happy and has become part of his daily routine for the past few weeks. I honestly only use a regular bowl now if he's having some wet food, or something other than dry kibble. Definitely glad I bought it.
Our Doberman 11 weeks old loves it. Crazy it wants 50 characters for input. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I bought this as an activity for my dog. There is little activity to this feeder. I can see where it may be helpful for a dog who is a gobbler of their food. This should be advertised as a feeder. There is no strategy to this toy. I am very disappointed.
