Is there enough room for a rabbit to get around the ramp to the back of hutch ?
Answer by ChewyJun 24, 2017
Absolutely! Depending on the size of your bunny, they'll have plenty of room to roam. The total measurements of this product are 61 x 20.75 x 27.5 inches; the hutch alone is 30 x 21 x 28 inches and the run alone is 31 x 21 x 23 inches.

I have seen many hutches with pull out trays, but the designers seem to forget to put a wire bottom above the tray. So what good is a pull out tray if your pet has to sit in his own mess! Does this hutch have a wire bottom?
Answer by ChewyAug 18, 2018
This product does not have wire lining the pull out tray. However, it can be added.

How does this hold up in the rain? Would I need to put a sealent on it to make it last longer?
Answer by ChewyJun 08, 2018
The Trixie Small Animal Hutch with Outdoor Run features a weatherproof finish inside and out.

I plan on buying a flemish giant and want to know if this hutch would be big enough and if not can you send me a link to one that is?
Answer by ChewyJun 07, 2018
This hutch is suitable for a Flemish Giant.

Was hoping for a better hutch.

Wood is softer than I anticipated. Some pieces were broken upon arrival. Ramp hinges were bent and are unable to be screwed on as shown in directions.

Trixie hutch

I love the hutch but 2of the screws in the top backed out. Was a easy fix just moved the screws a bit and screwed back in. I'd have to say my bunny Nugget loves it even more than me.

Not worth it

Not worth the money. My bunny chewed through the mesh at the bottom and the side. He has gotten out many times

ADD EXTRA SECURITY TO THE WIRE

The product is all around great. It arrived undamaged and quick. I use this for my mini lop rabbit and I have it placed outside the house. The only thing that's bad, I found was the hardware wire that makes up the run is NOT strong enough to hold a determined rabbit inside. I would strongly recommend securing the parts with the wire stapled on the outside so you don't end up with your critter pushing through it and escaping. Luckily my rabbit loves me more than I thought and returned...

Not really worth it

Even smaller in person then I thought and I knew it was about 5 ft long. Was a little complicated to put together, also didn’t say it but I had to use a drill to put it together and the direction suck. Especially the directions to put the roof together. Also when I took the wood out of the box it was chipped

Overall okay but I wish it was better

When this item arrived I saw how lightweight and fragile the wood is (in other words it’s kinda cheap for the price). In fact, it arrived with some damage to the parts. Also, the instructions are minimal so be prepared. Once it was assembled I realized how difficult it’s gonna be to clean the cage as the bottom section of the cage is rather hard do access with the ramp in the way. But this is a spacious habitat for my guinea pigs. I just hope it ends up being durable - especially against my cats. And lastly, the green texture on top of the roof continually chips and falls off.

Rabbit Hutch

It was smaller than I expected. One rabbit hutch only, unless you have miniature rabbits. Would not recommend unless you do. Could be taller also.

well made, good size

This looks clean, is made well and if you have a bad back or hard time getting your critter- this is the one for you. Multiple ways too unlock and reconfigure to a rabbit run of your making. Great for one bunny- like a rex or so, not sure enough for le pouf pouf bunny size. If you have those tiny ones you maybe able to get 2. If you have 3 bunnies- will work until they get bigger in a few months to buy you time . We use a chicken coup for 2 others but I think buying 3 of these would have been better and housing close to each other. Most definitely if it is outdoors you need to put rabbit fencing stapled on bottom or a critter will try and come in and eat their food buy digging into the whole your rabbit will start. Not sure how well will hold up for intense weather but for California valleys, urban, and coasts its fine.
