Trixie Tulia 40.2-in Fleece Senior Cat Tower

I love this cat stand, but more to the point, our older cat really loves it. She has arthritis and sometimes it is difficult for her to ‘climb’. This cat tree is perfect for her because she can easily, gently climb from one step to the next to reach the soft, comfy bed at the top of the tree where she can now lay for hours as the sun shines into the study. I highly recommend this product, especially for your older cats.

A parts list was included but no instructions. The platforms needed to be put on the posts before posts were attached to the base plus posts needed to be in the correct position. We took various parts apart three times before getting it right! Very good quality though.

I thought that this tree would be the same as the one I purchased a few years go, but was sadly mistaken. The surround of the bed is not rigid like the old tree. (New tree left, old tree right) The stairs are much more narrow and lack sisal pads that act as treads. They were also a bit bent from the way they were packed. Overall, disappointing for the price.

Wasn't the greatest design... the far sides are loose since there's no way to secure the ends of the two top steps. My cat only gets on it to mess with the blinds and he likes the box a lot more as seen in the picture.

This item would have been perfect, but the top pedestal is very small (13 inch diameter), and my 16 pound cat just doesn't have room to climb up and curl into the perch. I am trying another, larger Trixie product.

My cats love this. It was a little confusing to put together but it wasn’t too bad. I bought it for my senior cat who can’t jump very well and he thinks it’s the best. He’s about 13 pounds and does fit in the bed (it’s currently his fav spot) and my 14 pound cat fits in the bed as well but there’s usually a leg or two sticking out. Definitely would recommend, so far so good. Seems a tad flimsy but it’s not very expensive so hopefully it will hold up well.

My senior cats really like this cat tower. It's easy for them to use and they enjoy sleeping in the bed on top. The bed walls aren't rigid, but the cats like that.

The assembly was very easy and only took a few minutes. The bed is a bit smaller than I expected and the sides. are flimsy.

The cat tower once assembled is sturdy with easy to climb stairs. The basket on top is not rigid however and will move around. The package did not come with instructions. The manufacturer has instructions on their website, but none of the parts are labelled, so it was kind of a guessing game. It was also my mistake for not realizing, but the tower height is for the top of the basket. The basket bottom for cats to sit in is about 34.5 inches tall. I was purchasing this for my cat to be able to sit AND lay and look out the window, but at only 34.5 inches he can't lay down and still see. He does love sitting up there though!

This is EXACTLY what I’m looking for in a cat tree!!! The only thing that is stopping me, is my cat is about 15 pounds. I want him to be able to comfortably sleep in it without falling out. Can you make the the top perch larger?
