By Gene on Oct 10, 2020
This item has been unavailable (anywhere) for such an extended period of time that I realized I can get by without it, and that there are numerous less expensive and far better alternatives readily available. Keep hiding TRIZCHLOR!!!!

Vet prescribed TrizCHLOR 4HC. That is what I ordered. Now I see that you are out of stock. Is that hard to say when the order is made?

highest % chlorhex I've found
By ak1979 on Nov 14, 2019
My Amstaff has a bacterial allergy that causes pimples, which burst and scab over. When the scabs fall off, so does her hair under the scab. Thankfully she doesn't seem to notice this problem--she's not itchy or uncomfortable. With my vet's blessing, I've been using chlorhex shampoo for almost 5 years to prevent and treat her outbreaks. 2019 has been the worst year, and her skin was in a breakout/healing cycle for over 4 months. So I found the highest % of chlorhex available--and 4% is it: this shampoo. This shampoo is great. It definitely works to prevent and treat my dog's skin allergy. I squeeze some into a hair-dye bottle with a pointed tip, which allows me to better control My Amstaff has a bacterial allergy that causes pimples, which burst and scab over. I squeeze some into a hair-dye bottle with a pointed tip, which allows me to better control the flow/amount of shampoo plus get the shampoo under her fur and on her skin more efficiently than the shampoo bottle's wide-mouth opening. Plus I add a little water to dilute the thick shampoo so that it flows and spreads on the fur/skin easier. I apply it generously and rub vigorously with my fingertips. This shampoo lathers well (not all chlorhex shampoos do), which helps to spread the shampoo and also helps me keep track of which body parts I've already shampooed. It has a slight, pleasant, clean scent--no heavy perfume or medicinal smell. I lather and let the shampoo sit on her skin for approx 10 minutes while I clean her ears and teeth. I also use a 4% chlorhex spray to spot-treat the individual pimples when she has them (between baths), and also on a chronic, scaly, bald spot on her tail. Whenever I hear about a dog having skin allergies, I recommend chlorhex shampoo/spray. It has also helped us avoid oral steroids, which do work to combat the break-outs. … more

Nice Shampoo
By Sarah on Aug 15, 2019
My German Shepherd suffers from allergy and autoimmune problems that cause his skin to be dry and itchy, amongst other issues. This Shampoo lathers nice and rinses really well. Has a light fragrance and makes his coat so soft. We were instructed by our veterinary dermatologist to use this once per week, so far so good!

This stuff is amazing!
By Spikeonline on Jul 18, 2019
We have to use far less product on our dogs to get them soaped up and lathery, and they come out smelling wonderfully clean. No more residual 'dog' smell. We've had great success with every product we've used from this company.

Great Product - Recommended by our Vet
By Annie on Jun 26, 2019
A couple of years ago our Chessie suddenly developed skin problems -- Dry, itchy patches. Our vet recommended switching to TrizChlor 4HC which we did. Have used it ever since. Nicky is a Therapy Dog, and we get nothing but Kudos on the condition of her coat. Makes me feel proud!

Makes A World Of Difference
By Brenda on Jul 15, 2018
My Labrador has skin allergies to bug bites and with combined allergy therapy (Cytopoint), Epi soothe shampoo and this shampoo it has made so much of a difference. You have to keep on it if allergies are bad. Wash 2-3 times a week if needed, I washed my dog on Wednesday and repeated today and noticed significant improvement in his skin condition. I wish I could by quart size

My dog got relief from itching for an entire week after using this product. After the first week it became less effective, but still, it helped.
