    Mint flavor repels cats!

By Jade on Apr 20, 2021

It is literally easier to physically brush his teeth with the CET toothpaste and brush. This gel is minty! Of course no cat likes mint, it's used as a cat repellent. Couldn't even get it close to his mouth.

    Why is it mint?

By Mads on Mar 8, 2021

I don't know why it is mint flavored. My cat hates it. After two weeks of use, she developed a slight sore on her mouth and I've since stopped using it. I don't think I've sufficiently driven home the fact that it's INCREDIBLY minty. Like as a human, I'd be like, this is too minty man. I can't imagine what my cat is going through. Great idea. Get rid of the mint.

    Not a great product

By Ally on Jan 24, 2021

So I was hoping this would work, my cat’s teeth are fine but I wanted something preventative. My cat hated it and started foam at the mouth the first time I gave it to him. I won’t be trying it again. Also the way the bottle is made it’s very hard to see how much you’re squirting into your cats mouth. So if you do end up using it I would squeeze some on to your finger, not directly into your cats mouth.

TropiClean Fresh Breath Gel for cats

By Sunny on Mar 8, 2021

Our two cats did not like the taste of the gel but immediately licked it off. It did freshen their breath. Works good.

Great but my cat hates it

By Haley on Sep 4, 2020

I’d have given this a 5 star if the cat didn’t hate it so much. My parents cat is 12 years old and has never been to the vet in his life. His breath has always been tolerable but lately it’s been getting worse and we needed something to help while we waited to get him into a clinic. I decided to buy this as I’ve heard good things and it definitely seems to help but he absolutely HATES it! He loves a poultry flavored toothpaste we have but the second he smelled this gel he gagged and walked away. I have to put a drop on my finger and wipe it on his canines so he actually licks it.

    Another great product.

By Dodie on Jan 22, 2020

I heard about this product from my dogs’ groomers. I decided to check to see if it was available for cats. They’re not crazy about it but my daughter said to put a dab on their nose with a finger. The cats clean it right up. Much cheaper than tooth extractions.

    This Stuff is Meowvelous!

By PeeweeJones on Nov 14, 2019

My beautiful new 7-month-old companion is sooo sweet, but her breath was so hostile that when she licked my nose, it was like an act of terrorism. I considered taking her in to the vet to make sure nothing was wrong, but then I found this product. I didn’t have high hopes, but figured it was worth a try. Well, I am *really* impressed, y”all. We’ve only been using this for two days and her breath smells like...well, nothing, really. It’s kind of hard to believe. I can enjoy her kisses again; hurray! The directions say to use one drop, but since this is a fairly thick gel, a “drop” might vary from a tiny amount to big ol’ glob. I use a (clean) finger or q-tip to apply it to her teeth My beautiful new 7-month-old companion is sooo sweet, but her breath was so hostile that when she licked my nose, it was like an act of terrorism. The product has a light minty fragrance, but my little cutie doesn’t seem to mind the taste. I have a few concerns about the ingredients (alcohol is the second one, and exactly what is the “natural cleanser” listed?, etc.), so we probably won’t continue to use this daily; possibly every few days, or more often if and when her breath starts to get funky again. … more

By Holly on Jan 3, 2020

Having older Persians with teeth issues. This is great. The gel clings Seems to work better than just the liquid products
