This product is ready for use. Just shake the bottle, wet your pet's coat and massage shampoo into your pet's coat for 3 to 5 minutes, rinse well.
Is this paraben and sulfate free?

The Shampoo is paraben free but does contain Sodium LAURETH Sulfate (SLES) not to be confused with the much harsher Sodium Lauryl Sulfate.

Another great Tropiclean product!

I've been using Tropiclean shampoos and conditioners for over a decade with my dog and never found one I didn't love! I got this one to use with my special-needs cat since the more heavily-scented ones aren't good for his asthma. I don't have to fully bathe him much anymore, but I use a couple drops of shampoo on a wet cloth as a waste-free "grooming wipe". He's never had a reaction to it, the scent is nice and fresh, and it gets him clean quickly. I highly recommend the entire line of Tropiclean products, definitely recommend this one if you need something for a sensitive pet.

The shampoo lathers ok but coconut smell is so minimal, might as well not even put the word coconut on it.

Lovely lather w/ light fragrance

I have a 5 mos old shichon with white hair that is constantly in need of a bath. He loves to romp in our yard with the other dogs and comes back inside with mud up to his belly! Thus, I’m bathing him weekly and needed a gentle shampoo but one without a heavy fragrance as I’m allergic to most perfumes. This shampoo works up to a rich lather and rinses well. The fragrance out of the bottle is light and pleasantly coconut but doesn’t leave the dog smelling like a pina colada. A big plus to me. This leaves his coat soft, fluffy and totally cuddlable. It would have received 5 stars, however it isn’t a tear-free so be careful not to get it into the dogs eyes. I have some puppy shampoo left over and use that on his face. I recommend this product for a clean, cuddly pup without a heavy perfume.

Cocoa the Coconut

Cocoa, my elderly tabby cat who needs help cleaning herself, is giving this shampoo all beans up! After two washes, her dandruff is almost completely gone and this doesn't tangle like most gentle cleaners.

Great, gentle shampoo!

When I received the gallon jug it was bubble wrapped and in a sealed bag. The shampoo also had a seal on the opening. I immediately used this in my "car wash nozzle" to wash my 50 lb double coated mixed breed dog. It was fantastic! It cleaned him very well and had a natural coconut fragrance. It smelled exactly like unrefined coconut oil smells. It's didn't irritate my hands, my asthma, or my dog's skin. I love this dog shampoo!

I got my order

I got shampoi. When i got it, the bottle had seal. I opened it to smell it. I love the scent. .i cant.wait to get my babies and try it. Reading reviews makes me feel confident my poo dogs will like it and they will smell yummy. I like that it also has conditioner in it..Thank you.chewy for your products. I will buy more.
