Picky, picky, picky

Great Buy For A Great Treat
I took advantage of your "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" offer on these dental treats. My Chocolate Lab loves these and gets one after every meal to help control tartar. He is my service dog and I break some individual sticks into thirds to use as training rewards for him.
First time tried
I have tried many dental chews for my dogs and none were accepted, so I was pleasantly surprised when True Acre's Dental Chew Sticks were eagerly taken by all of my dogs (5) the first time. They are firm enough to be effective, but can still be broken in half for the smaller dogs.
My dog loves them
I needed to find something else when they stopped making the dental sticks my dog was eating. These are perfect and easy to break up
She looks forward to her "bedtime snack"
My dog knows that after her supper and her last trip outside before bed, this will be waiting for her. If I forget, get distracted, etc. she will take turns pacing then sitting by the pantry door until she gets her stick. She gets one every night, she's a 50# cattle dog, and she carries it to her rug, eats it and goes to bed. I am picky about what she's allowed to eat. She is on her 2nd bag, still likes them, and she will continue to get one a day.

Severe allergic reaction
My dog ate one of these and broke out in welts all over his head and neck. His face swelled around his eyes. He was throwing up profusely. If we had gotten benadryl in him any later than we did I dont think Poppy would still be with us. It took two full days of vomiting, bloody diarrhea, and a constant regimen of benadryl that brought my dog through to the other side of this. After this happened to my dog, my sister than told me that the same thing happened to her dog after eating a dog dental stick. It's not just the major brands, it's all of them. And dont think because this one says it is all natural that it is safe for your dogs, because it it's not at all safe. This treat nearly killed my dog. please heed my warning. Do not feed these to your dog unless you want a very sick pup that could potentially die.
