    4 Fur babies to feed

By HouseOFur on Nov 23, 2021

Since we have 4 to feed, we struggled to find a food that they would all eat, and enjoy. We are almost through our 1st 30 lb bag and they all still dig in at meal time. We have tried a couple of other brands of dog foods with real meat pieces and they got "bored" with it after about 10 meals. One of our dogs is a large breed, but she really likes the dry dog food with the smaller sized dry nuggets, and they all enjoy the soft meat pieces (that are a good size). The meat pieces are well proportioned to the dry food, which is wonderful because other brands we have tried have had very sparse meat pieces. We are very pleased with the beef & vegetable blend, and hope that they do not change anything Since we have 4 to feed, we struggled to find a food that they would all eat, and enjoy. Bigfailagain

By Fail on Nov 26, 2021

So I got this food because Of the offer first. Never buy pup food just for cost lol. I also read the ingredients, and I liked the first ingredient being meat. So FedEx don't get me started on them ha didn't get this to me until a week after I ordered. I tried to slow introduce it to my pup,and nope he won't eat it. He's so smart he takes this out,and only eats the Tender crunchy puppy chow. I just gave this food away not a cheap lesson. The food doesn't have much of a smell and is flat like a saucer. I'm just going back to what he likes, and try on another food when he's 1. So there's Mt review. I won't purchase again sorry.

    Hooked at first sniff

By Rollo on Nov 27, 2021

As a true foodie, our Chessie was bored with the food he was eating, and seemed to be craving more red meat. When we pulled True Acre Foods Farmhouse Blend with Beef & Vegetables from the Box, he followed us to the storage wagging his tail the whole way there & while we filled his bowl. Needless to say, he inhaled his 1st serving and convinced a little extra was okay

My dog went wild for this dog food!

    By Brenda on Sep 30, 2021 top1000Contributor

I bought this because our regular dog food Kibbles n Bits(which my dog loves) was out of stock & I needed food asap. To be honest I only got the TrueAcres because my 1st 40lb bag was half off, around $18. The 50lb of K 'n B is $23, which is in my budget as I have to reorder every 2 months. Anyway, so I got this other for price hoping she'd eat it til I could get the other. I could not believe how she dove into this food! She even was all over the bag when it came today. The ingredients look great, very healthy, and if I could afford it at over $36 for 40lb, I'd switch. But I can't so I'm thinking of mixing in with the Kibbles n Bits since it is such healthy food & how much she loves it. I can't keep her bowl full

By princess on Sep 1, 2021

my dog has been on a very popular brand large breed dog food for years but it's become very boring so when I made my order a couple times ago and saw an offer for a free $20 gift card to try a chewy only brand. I chose a large breed true acres but it was grain free. my vet told me she needs ancient grains so when I made my last order I chose this beef and veggies and I filled her bowl and she ate it all without any tricks to make her eat it. I love this new brand and it's so much cheaper than my other brand!!

Maggots in my last 2 bags

By Fluffy on Nov 22, 2021

The last 2 bags I bought had maggots crawling at the top of the bag. Although my dogs loved this, I’m not comfortable giving this anymore.

    Sensitive Tummy Approved!

By TrueAcre on Sep 15, 2021

My Daizee loves this food. She had to come off of her normal chicken diet due to skin break outs. I was nervous to switch her over to this food because of her weak stomach, but she loves every bit of this food. Upset Tummy free and no skin break outs as I use the beef formula!

    Pulverized

By Eddie on Nov 9, 2021

The bag is almost unusable. Half of the food has been crushed. Unless I add milk or water, my dogs have to lick it to be able to eat it!!
