I found this at the store and purchased because of the silent squeaker. My Maltese, Hobbs, loves it and plays with it constantly. I figured it would be destuffed in no time so I found it on Chewy and purchased 2 more. The first one lasted over 18 months, and was just getting icky, but stil intact. I love the fact that I don't have to hear constant squeaking!!!!!!
I think this company needs to use my dog to set the bar on what tough chewers are really like. Jack had this thing wrecked and in a million pieces within 24 hours. I think he did like the fact it didn't squeak but that didn't stop his mission from removing said squeaker or the crinkle paper inside. Poor platypus didn't stand a chance and was a gonner. RIP.
Our dog does not respond to the SILENT squeaker. In addition, she has already been able to pull threads out of it. Our daughter purchased one for her dachshund and it has already been able to remove the squeaker. We would not purchase this item again.
Leo is very fond of his silent squeaker platypus. He chews and gnaws on it until the stuffing pours out. So I sew it back up for him. He is worth it.
My dogs loved this toy so much and I did not hear the squeaking. Unfortunately, my tough chewers destroyed it with 24 hours. Within an hour, all the feet were chewed off and the squeaker was out by the next morning. I would love the silent squeaky toy for tough chewers but I would not buy this particular toy again
My dog loves it! He gets the satisfaction of the silent squeaker and playing with a toy that has "fur". I hope you made many other versions of this toy. Also, please sell the silent squeakers as replacement parts.
Our puppy seems to love this squeak-free toy! Music to our ears!!
Lemon loves this thing. It's lasted longer than any of the other silent sqeakers. Will buy again.
This was gifted to multiple pooches and I am told they all love it as do their companions
It took 15 minutes for one of our golden retrievers to shred both of the platypus toys. On the somewhat plus side, our other golden retriever, who usually could care less about stuffed toys, showed an interest in the toy due to its "silent squeak ".... too bad our other dog stole it from him and tore it apart.
