Toy was recommended as very tough. My dog popped a seam within 20 minutes of tug play. Could be a defective item. But I recommend you try their other products and not the animal ones. The seams at the middle of the toy are very weak.

This monkey has a squeaker, but it barely makes a sound. My dogs prefer toys that squeak, so this one is not a preferred toy. It does seem durable for rough playing dogs though.

9 pound Shorkie Poo chewed through an arm in 2 days! Not sturdy at all!

Our 6 month old small Labradoodle puppy tore the arm off in the first 10 minutes.

This is not a tuff toy my pit ripped into the seams and started taking out the filling in ten minutes. Save your money and worth $40 bucks.

Bought 2 “Heavy Chewer “ toys and our 8 month old Standard Schnauzer puppy destroyed them after 2 days!

This was a disappointing one, with a name like tuffy's, one would get the impression that it's a tuff toy. Boy was I wrong. My 5 month old pup had stuffing everywhere within 5 seconds. He found the weak spot on the seams of the belly and that was the end of the monkey. Real shame as it was $40 dollars for the bigger one.

First of all I think this is a well made toy. I have purchased several Tuffy toys for my 1 1/2 year old dog. She is a Lab and is a very aggressive chewer. She will find the weak part of any toy. In the Zoo Monkey's case it is the nose and stomach area. It is not made of the same tuff material as the rest of the toy. This is it's fatal flaw!! For the price I paid which was about 40 dollars for the large size monkey which 1)IS WAY OVER PRICED and 2)five minutes in she destroyed it beyond repair. That is a pricey mistake that I will not make again.
