Not A Good Collar
By Essie on Mar 22, 2021
I bought this in Dec and it is now end of March. This collar has gone from one extreme to the other. Where it used to be extremely sensitive (the TV set it off, my laughing set it off one time, and also my dog scratching caused it to go off) it now won't make a sound or vibrate. Ever. It is on & fully charged, I can adjust the controls and settings, I have let the battery die completely and then recharged it completely but it will not under any circumstances, vibrate or make noise. I stopped using the collar for a little bit because she was doing well without it and when she would not respond to commands, I'd bust it out again. That's when it stopped working as well (it was still working intermittently I bought this in Dec and it is now end of March. This collar has gone from one extreme to the other. I also noticed a little problem in between uses. Even though I made sure there was enough slack that I could still get a finger in between her skin and the collar (including the prongs) and she is still losing hair where the device sits. That did not happen with another e-collar that I had before. I know not to leave it on her for extended periods of time so it is definitely not from over-exposure. Either way, the collar ended up in the trash and I won't be getting another one from this brand. … more

Both broke within 2 month after purchase
By 918nik on Mar 9, 2021
I ordered two of the TUG bark collars. I used the vibration mode mainly and they did a fine job at decreasing the amount of barking for my 2 barkers... but I purchased these at the end of November and by the end of January they were both broken. The one collar does not even respond or turn on anymore, and the other one just gives a slight effort of a vibration. We never put them in water. Just poor quality? Disappointing though because I did appreciate that the vibration mode was working...

does it’s job
By kelley on Feb 22, 2021
This collar works pretty well. We are cooped up inside on a semi busy street. My dog would sit in our basement where she could see nothing and would bark at any little noise. She is pretty quiet now and I can even have a conversation with someone at our door. I haven’t had her wear it around other dogs or outside. So summer time I may have an issue. It charges fast too. It’s pretty cheap where if it makes it through six months of constant wear I will be content.

Doesn't work consistently
By JBJB on Mar 29, 2021
This collar doesn't go off when my dog is barking frantically, yet buzzes at him when he's walking along quietly doing great. I also can't tell when it's on, and the battery dies quickly. I am ordering something else.

Kanes new bark collar
By Debs on Feb 13, 2021
I honestly haven't put it on him yet because I'm afraid of it myself. I'm going to wait til my son gets home to do it for me. I had to do something because my Kane barks at EVERYTHING, even a leaf blowing down the street. I know nothing about bark collars, I didn't want to get a cheap 1, so I spent a little money and hopefully this will solve his barking issues.

It's ok... it works
By Quieterdog on Nov 20, 2020
It's just "ok". It works as described. I like that it has the option to vibrate instead of shock. I have a 20lb dog and the collar is huge. Although it is adjustable, you'll probably end up cutting off a good length off of it if you have a smaller dog. My biggest complaint is that the interface is incredibly difficult to use. I haven't let the battery drain completely yet but I do hope it has some sort of built in memory to maintain settings upon complete loss of power. It would be a huge pain to re-do the settings each time since the "buttons" (if you can call them that) are so difficult to press/use. Very confusing.. but for now "it works". I bought it for full price and kind of regret It's just "ok". It works as described. I like that it has the option to vibrate instead of shock. I have a 20lb dog and the collar is huge. Sleek design, doesn't hold a charge
By AbbyM on Dec 17, 2020
I got these for my dogs with no intention of using the shock function, just the beep and vibrate. They are easy to set up and program only issue is after about a month of not using them constantly they don't seem to hold a charge. And the cover that make it waterproof fell off one today, so now when the dogs wear it the charging port is exposed.

Didn’t last long
By 4pups on Feb 7, 2021
We bought 2 collars and they both only lasted about 3 months. One doesn’t vibrate but will beep and shock. The other wing shock but will do the others.

Quit Upsetting
By ReinerRider on Dec 28, 2020
Goes off on children yelling, you yelling at children and randomly in the absolute quiet. Then it doesn't shock consistently, she will bark once and it goes off the next time it won't go off after she barks 3 times.

REALLY like this
By jackie on Oct 9, 2020 top1000Contributor
We have a great pyr. She probably doesn’t bark as much as a typical pyr but she does bark. Reasons I love this collar: 1. it’s hands free! 2.Its already set up to NOT shock my dog! This is the best feature. 3.it looks nice and sleek. 3. It’s not big or bulky so if she lays on the ground I don’t worry about her being uncomfortable. 4. Easy 2 hour charge and a digit that tells me what level charge the battery is at. 5. Super easy set up on setting my sensitivity levels, sound level and vibrate level. I don’t have to run around searching for my remote, trying to buzz her when she barks, the collar does it for me. I use the short prong for her comfort and it works just fine despite her hair. I’m so happy I can throw the old collar and remote away. And the best part is that it is set automatically to beep first as a warning then if she continues it vibrates. The old collar and remote stuff you always took a chance you would hit the wrong button and accidentally shock your dog. So it slowed your reaction time checking you were on the right setting before hitting vibrate. This collar does it all for me. The box the collar comes in is tiny and easily stored which is helpful. Love love love. I have 2 tug brand retractable leashes as well, half the cost of other brands and works and last just as long for my pyr. I’m digging the tug brand. One con: the collar doesn’t seem to have much tension in it. It’s a nice looking collar. Love the color, the light weight, but it does seem to want to loosen on its own a bit. I know some people mentioned it’s not waterproof as advertised. I haven’t tested this feature. We use it for in the house at night and back yard when she gets to play and maybe the neighbors or their dogs are out and set her off. So no water for us to be able to say if that comment is true or not. But even if it is I would buy this collar again. … more
