First of all, the two plastic bits holding the toy to the card had to be cut off as close to the toy as possible. No through and through, so there were sharp points until I squished them into the fish body. Then my cat is a kicker and managed to snap a back claw into the loose netting around the fish. She panicked when she couldn't get her back paw free, shook herself violently, and damaged her claw. Blood spots all over the house as she ran in panic until I could catch her and get the fish off her claw. The loose netting is a definite hazard.
That’s right, my most finicky, selective, it’s gotta be a good mix of catnip in this toy cat absolutely LOVES this fish. He also was able to rip the beautiful feathers off in the very first 15 minutes of play so now it is a feather-less fish that he still carries around in his mouth (which he rarely does) and plays with like he is a kitten again which is heartwarming to watch. I am happy with my catnip fish with no feathers.
All the cats love this. I've seen all three of them playing with it, even the outdoor cat. The feathers didn't last very long, but they never do and the feathers being gone doesn't seem to stop them enjoying playing with the toy because of the catnip. Definitely worth buying. Your cats will like it.
