  • Too soon to know for sure......

    By on

Due to Oliver's extreme allergies, it is always difficult to transition from one food to another. We are still at the final stages of a long introduction of this new food but so far nothing catastrophic. Skin isn't fabulous (nothing new) and stool volume excessive but normal consistency......Too much rice? That is yet to be determined. Will do a follow up review when transition is complete!

  • Liking this food ... and my dogs do too

    By on

The food was on my radar screen from attending and working at industry trade shows but is not available from any of my local stores or distributors. When I was looking to change foods last month, I found it on Chewy and thought I would give it a shot. The ingredient panel is nice and simple, and most importantly the dogs love it. So far, so good!

  • Great for dogs with Candida yeast infections.

    By on

After no help from the vet and a whole lot of research on my own, I finally cured my female ridgeback of her long suffering skin infection which was candida yeast infection. One of the hardest to cure. No oatmeal shampoo because it makes it worse. No grains, peas, potatoes including sweet potatoes. No antibiotics. Finally after 6 weeks on this food with evangers beef canned food and tripe once a week with a Nutramax proviable DC capsule daily, and pet meds Be Soothed Tea Tree Oil spray she is looking great, feeling great and her fur is growing back in the areas where she was affected. If you have an allergic dog of any kind this dry food is the best.

  • So far so good.

My GSD has IBD, and this limited ingredient food seems to be working for her so far. Fingers crossed my search for a dry kibble has finally been met. I do mix in two tablespoons of lamb tripett to each meal. She's alway excited for her meals.

  • Dog Wouldn't Eat It

    By on

I have a Sheltie and ordered this food since he has so many allergies. My dog is not a picky eater by any means. He normally scarfs down his food. I introduced him to the food and he kept on spitting it out. He just left the food in his bowl. I had him on Merrick Limited Ingredient Diet Lamb and will be switching back to that. I'm glad it has worked for other paw-rents, but my Sheltie just didn't care for it.

  • good for sensitive Dane, sub for California Natural

    By on

Our Great Dane has a sensitive stomach and it literally took us 2 years to find something he could tolerate, which was California Natural lamb/rice. We had to find a replacement after they recently discontinued that brand, and this food was the closest ingredient-wise. Thankfully our Dane has been eating it for several months now with no problems!

  • Great product, easy delivery

    By on

It is so easy to order this product and get it delivered right to my door at a better price than I can get at the stores. No more having to load into a car and then unload in the house. Just open box and put it away. I love this customer service! And the food is wonderful, especially for a picky eater.

  • My picky huskies love it

I have two huskies -- both picky eaters. With this food, they're excited to eat and their coats look amazing. The ingredients in this food are simple and healthy, so it's perfect for my little girls. Definitely recommend

  • Dogs like it

    By on

Into 2 weeks and the allergy ridden Golden seems to be doing better with this food than the dozen others we've tried. She likes it and we use the kibble as treats too. The limited ingredients keep it simple. Just lamb, rice, and olive oil. No chicken, fish, alfalfa, beet pulp... She's itching less and hoping her chronic ear infection goes away. Vet says try it for atleast 8 weeks. We will. She weighs 68# and gets 1-1/4 C twice a day - always eager to eat, is energetic, coat and skin are healthy.

My dog is allergic to everything. So, this food seems to work. Not a lot of ingredients. And she seems to like it.
