Dogs have individual requirements for nutrition and energy even if the same size; therefore, use the chart below listing the recommended feeding guidelines as a starting point and adjust the portions fed to achieve ideal body weight of your dog. Puppies may need up to twice the amounts, and nursing/pregnant mothers up to 3 times the amounts shown per given body weight.
When switching from your old food, it is best to allow 7 - 10 days transitional period. To switch, slowly add more of the Tuscan Natural food and less of the old food every meal until you are using Tuscan Natural exclusively.

What is my dog eating?
By Gigi on Nov 21, 2018
I ordered a sample straight from Tuscan Natural. Dog loved the taste. Kibble was small and easy for her to chew. No stomach upset during the transition. I ordered a full bag from Chewy. Product is slightly larger, lighter, harder, and she’s completely uninterested. I Googled to see if there has been a change in the formula. Can’t find anything. Ingredient labels read the same. I’m wondering if my dog is eating a knock off under the Tuscan Natural label. I tried attaching photos here to show the difference. Unfortunately they aren’t loading.

New food for dogs with skin problems
By Shelley on Dec 7, 2018
I saw this dog food on Black Friday sale and bought two bags to try for my dogs with bad skin problems. They loved it and are now not taking their medication from the vet. I wish I would of bought six bags. We will use this food from now on. I would recommend this dog food for dogs with skin problems.

Liking this food ... and my dogs do too
By Cornelian on Sep 10, 2018
The food was on my radar screen from attending and working at industry trade shows but is not available from any of my local stores or distributors. When I was looking to change foods last month, I found it on Chewy and thought I would give it a shot. The ingredient panel is nice and simple, and most importantly the dogs love it. So far, so good!

Too soon to know for sure......
By AllergyMom on Aug 25, 2018
Due to Oliver's extreme allergies, it is always difficult to transition from one food to another. We are still at the final stages of a long introduction of this new food but so far nothing catastrophic. Skin isn't fabulous (nothing new) and stool volume excessive but normal consistency......Too much rice? That is yet to be determined. Will do a follow up review when transition is complete!

Great for dogs with Candida yeast infections.
By Kimb on Jul 23, 2018
After no help from the vet and a whole lot of research on my own, I finally cured my female ridgeback of her long suffering skin infection which was candida yeast infection. One of the hardest to cure. No oatmeal shampoo because it makes it worse. No grains, peas, potatoes including sweet potatoes. No antibiotics. Finally after 6 weeks on this food with evangers beef canned food and tripe once a week with a Nutramax proviable DC capsule daily, and pet meds Be Soothed Tea Tree Oil spray she is looking great, feeling great and her fur is growing back in the areas where she was affected. If you have an allergic dog of any kind this dry food is the best.

So far so good.
By Eckert89 on Sep 10, 2018
My GSD has IBD, and this limited ingredient food seems to be working for her so far. Fingers crossed my search for a dry kibble has finally been met. I do mix in two tablespoons of lamb tripett to each meal. She's alway excited for her meals.

good for sensitive Dane, sub for California Natural
By TMAR on Jun 13, 2018
Our Great Dane has a sensitive stomach and it literally took us 2 years to find something he could tolerate, which was California Natural lamb/rice. We had to find a replacement after they recently discontinued that brand, and this food was the closest ingredient-wise. Thankfully our Dane has been eating it for several months now with no problems!

I have two huskies -- both picky eaters. With this food, they're excited to eat and their coats look amazing. The ingredients in this food are simple and healthy, so it's perfect for my little girls. Definitely recommend

Allergies to everything
By Sadie on Jul 13, 2018
My dog is allergic to everything. So, this food seems to work. Not a lot of ingredients. And she seems to like it.
