We’ve gone through several different scratching posts/trees. Our cat Rags goes through them quickly joy & most don’t have replacement tubes. We haven’t NEEDED a replacement tube for this unit, very durable & doesn’t completely unravel or shred like the ones with the nylon rope material. Almost 2 years anc this unit is still going strong…plus it allows our Rags Kitty to exercise both front & back paws simultaneously. Trust me, best money spent for this product.
The string on the hanging toy in the center broke after about 2 weeks. My 12 week old kitten loved it. Looking for a way to reattach it.
We picked this up to provide a couple of scratching posts and a platform and our kitten keeps batting the ball hanging from the top platform. The bottom acts as a canopy kitty bed for now.
Never received it!
The grey parts of the scratching post is just a velvet like fabric stapled onto some kind of composite wood or cardboard material. My cats immediately began scratching both the parts covered in the material and the sisal rope posts. The fabric was instantly torn to pieces and the composite stuff underneath it is easily shredded up too. I give my cats a week before they totally demolish it. They like using it but too expensive for something that will only last a week or two. Sorry but I can't recommend this.
