    Use for a Dog with IBD

    Powder is extremely bitter! You need to buy empty capsules.(I get them at a local health food store.) Then you make the capsules with the dosage prescribed by the Vet. I cover the capsule with peanut butter or chee whiz. You do not want the capsule to be bitten open in your dog’s mouth! I have used Powder is extremely bitter! You do not want the capsule to be bitten open in your dog’s mouth! I have used Tylan with 2 dogs. It seems to work better than Flagyl. The dog is also given Synacore (purchased on Chewy). It is a probiotic with enzymes. I alternate days between the TYLAN and SYNACORE. Helping very much with a novel protein dog food. … more

    Bad taste won’t take it

    I have spynx cats with chronic colitis and they have very sensitive stomachs , vomiting and diarrhea on regular basis. They won’t take Tylan, I tried putting in in the dry food ,wet food, boiled chicken breast . Nothing works
