  • Finally a dog food my picky dog loves!

    By on

We have 3 rescue dogs and one of them is the pickiest eater ever (he will not even eat human food)! We have easily spent over $3000 in the past year trying different dog foods (brands, types, textures, etc.) with varying degrees of success but yet no clear consistent winner that he will always go back to. We even paid for a home delivery service of a food similar to this and that was the closest we had gotten to him loving food until we received an ad from Chewy about Tylee's and figured we might as well give this a try as it was similar to what he was currently on and a fraction of the price we were paying for the home delivery service and we didn't have to go through the crazy hassle of that We have 3 rescue dogs and one of them is the pickiest eater ever (he will not even eat human food)! Now he eagerly anticipates feeding times and will actually eat his entire bowl of food quickly during one sitting. I personally like that it has healthy, clearly identifiable ingredients in it, a higher protein count, easily storable bag and you can mix a little kibble with it for "texture" but mainly that it is finally the one! Highly recommend to give it a try for other picky eaters out there! … more

  • Best Dog Food!

I have had my Doodle since a puppy and he has been very picky. He is 3 years old and I have fed every 4, or 5 star rated food kibble, frozen and raw. He mostly turns away. I thought I would give this a try. He absolutely loves it and his bowl is gone in minutes. He loves the Beef Recipe, but anxious to try the other flavors. He gets real USDA beef plus sweet potatoes, mango, broccoli, spinach and zucchini. The other thing I love is, that I love feeding him. While it is frozen, it is easy to scoop out and defrost quickly or microwave on defrost. It doesn't gross me out, like the Raw dog food I was feeding him. • No luck..........

    By on

I bought this product in my best attempt to lure my two picky girls, and it didn't turn out to be very successful one. I did try a couple of other dehydrated food options where you just need to add warm water & serve, and my dogs wouldn't just take it. My dogs happened to love tylee's jerky treats so I just decided to give it a try. No matter how I prepare it, they shows no interest whatsoever. After giving them just two servings of it, I wonder what I am gonna do with the rest of it (btw, I bought the 96 oz bag) The food quality is decent, and it does look good enough for you to try it though.

  • He loves it!!

    By on

Nugget (wirehaired dachshund), has always been a picky eater. He sniffs it, and then decides if he wants to eat it. I put this food in his bowl while getting his old food ready and he started eating this. I have never seen him so excited to eat. He gobbles it right up. Makes me feel good that I'm feeding something good for him that he likes! Grain free is sometimes not as tasty to dogs. Will be transitioning my other dachshund, Casey, once the old food is all gone.

  • Talk about home cooked for REAL!

    By on

Shirbear can be picky and he's real smart about what "real-quality" dog food should taste like. Won't eat anything canned wet, and only eats dry with additives (i.e fruit and veggies). We feed Fresh Pet and Halo dry for our 6 lb Malshi, but wanted to add something new. I love Tylee's human grade ingredients-- you can eat this too if you really wanted to, what!?! Yep, how crazy! He can barely keep his booty on the floor when I warm it up. It smells and looks amazing!

  • My dog loves this food

    By on

My mom gave me this food to try for our dog. My Beethoven is super picky when it comes to his food. He loved It! So I went online and ordered an autoship supply for him. I called customer service to make sure everything was good to go. The lady I talked to was so helpful and friendly. Sayyy what??!! Good customer service and awesome product all from the same company. I thought I was dreaming!! This will be our only food from here on out! I love the fact that it's healthy for him and doesnt have all the by products. Thank you chewy for your food and superb customer service !!!

  • Homecooked, but raw veggies and fruits

    By on

Good quality food and the dogs love it. The only problem is the veggies and fruits are not cooked, but raw. The dogs don't digest them, they just come out in their stools. If the veggies and fruits were cooked, the dogs would be able to digest them. Will switch to a different food when I am done with these bags, only because of the raw veggies and fruits. Good price, but some of the food isn't being used by the dogs. Also, calorie count per cup is low, so I have to feed a lot more of this food to the dogs to keep their weight up.

  • Great food

    By on

For decades I have made human grade chicken stew / beef stew when on sale, spending hours cooking, packaging, freezing. I decided to try this to give myself a break from cooking in the summer. The BOGO offer was the clincher! Well, my two spoiled babies love it. We are amazed how they chow it down & they seem satisfied & content after their meals. Our pups are major critics & they gave it 4 dew claws up. It is expensive but as mentioned the BOGO deal made it better. It arrived frozen on dry ice. Definite winner!!!

  • Almost "Natural" Food for Canines

    By on Top 100 Contributor

I've long known that dry kibble is not a natural food for dogs but am compelled to feed it due to dollar constraints. When I saw this on sale and read the reviews, I jumped at the chance to try it. There was a misunderstanding with my order but Chewy's customer service immediately came to the rescue. As other reviewers said, the bag doesn't seal properly but knowing that beforehand, I had binder clips on hand. The food itself has my dogs dancing when they see me get it out of the refrigerator. I take a scoop from the freezer the night before, leave it in the fridge to defrost and serve as a topping in the morning. They gobble it like it's their last meal!
