  • Even picky shiba approves!

I have a very picky Shiba Inu who, with other types of food, would reluctantly walk over to the food bowl, sniff it, and walk away. I tried many different types of dry food and wet food of various flavors, but she never seemed interested in it, only eating it after an hour or two of it being out, when she got really hungry. I would have to add chicken or cheese to even make her glance at the food. But with Tylee's she honestly will wait by my feet while I am preparing it and gulps it all down so quickly. She has never left food in the bowl like she used to. It smells really good and looks like human food, I am almost tempted to eat it sometimes! Honestly the best food we have ever tried. … more

  • So far so mmm mmm good

My dog is gobbling this up like he hasn't eaten in days. He loves it and that makes me happy. I'm trying to help with his allergies which means to not give him kibble as much as possible. So I am weaning him off of the dry food diet and giving him an all natural diet. Hoping this will be one of the changes I make to help him become a healthier, happier dog.

  • Human Chow for the Pup

    By on

My dog loves this food! She's a bit of a diva anyway, so she requires something extra in her food except just the dry stuff, so this fit the bill. I plan to use some of this in my dog's regular food vs transitioning all the way. Rated 4 stars simply because this would only feed your dog for a week or so (if given strictly as a feeding vs a "topper"), and the cost wouldn't warrant that changeover. Also of note:: since this is "human grade", it arrives as a next day shipment vs on the regular Chewy schedule (which for us is 2 days)

  • Terrible Value

    By on

This food came in dust more than pieces. The frozen dust pieces turned to a concrete mush that my dog wouldn't eat and I honestly don't blame her. I ended up having to put the food into a colander and rinse it under cold water to get the mush up and lost half of the bag. I will never order this again, what a waste of money.

  • Two Thumbs Up

    By on

My two English Bulldogs love this food. I had them on an all kibble diet but wanted to make a healthier change for them. They have allergy sensitivities so I was looking for a more natural dog food. Their coats are smoother and they have shed the little bit of excess weight they were carrying around. I plan on continuing to use this product.

  • Would not buy again

    By on

It arrived frozen properly and packed in dry ice. When I opened the bag some of it was white like it had been freezer burned and even after thawing per directions my dog would not touch it. I threw out the areas that I thought might have just been freezer burned and only kept about half the bag of what looked to be perfectly good. Had to mix it with boiled turkey to get my dog to eat it. It's been a while trying to slowly get her to eat a larger mixture of this with other food but unless I mask this with her other food she won't touch it

  • Oh, so good!

    By on

My "girls" love it! I mix it half and half with The Honest Kitchen and it it perfect for them as seniors with few teeth and a rough past as rescues that have created some health issues. This allows me to know I am giving them quality food that has maintained a healthy weight and coats. There is little "gas feedback" and there is a good stool. They are eager for dinner and clean their bowls. I know this is using a blend of foods, but I would not hesitate to feed just Tylee's; the blend just works well for me economically.

  • My dogs would not come near it

    By on

I have two dogs who are not picky eaters at all and they would not even come close to eating this. I followed the directions, thawed the food and served it and my dogs each gave it one sniff and walked away. My dogs love chicken and even veggies but they had no interest in this. I had to end up giving it away.

  • Something new

    By on

My dog really seemed to like this when I first put it on his kibble. After that first time, he would eat it, but didn't seem particularly interested. The packaging says it lasts 10 days after being thawed. Because the chicken pieces are bluish, it would be hard to discern any mold, I would suspect.
