    Inconsistent

By FluffbrokMahm on Jul 8, 2021

These are both a hit and a miss for my 2 aussiedoodle girls. We purchased several bags of each flavor to give them a solid shot. There is some SERIOUS inconsistency from bag to bag and even patty to patty. The beef is the worst offender for this issue. Of the 8 or so bags we went through, they ranged from almost fluffy and spongy, easily breakable pieces in a shade of tan to rock solid, difficult to break apart in a shade of very dark brown like a severely overcooked burger. The lighter and softer patties went over really well during meals while the harder, darker ones were often tossed out of the bowl and completely rejected. It is too HARD

By cindy on May 7, 2021

My dog won't eat it.....he is used to freeze dried as I've used 3 different brands. This is a no go. With the other freeze dried I've used I am able to squeeze the patty in my hand and it crumbles easily. This product is hard. I will not order it again.

    Too expensive

By Debbie on May 3, 2021

My dog would need to eat 9 of them for a meal so at this price it is too expensive to feed on a regular basis. My dogs did like them so they would be good for a special treat

    Tasty addition in our rotation

    By Mamafirebird on Jan 31, 2021 top100Contributor

Got this to see how it worked for my 2 Aussies - one notoriously picky, the other would eat any and everything if she could fit it in her mouth. I found the patties break up very easily by hand. This is a bonus, because I can add sprinkles of tastiness to kibble, wet food, or mix with raw meals. A great way to travel with raw food; however, you'd need a LOT to provide a whole meal for larger dogs. But for how I use the product, it's perfect! Both the fussy dog and his ravenous housemate give this 4 paws up.

    My dogs love this food

    By Kiko on Feb 8, 2021 top1000Contributor

This food is as good as treats to my pups. The reason I subtracted a star is because these patties are very hard to break into pieces. My senior Chihuahua with missing teeth cannot chew this even after it's been soaking for quite awhile. So, I put the halved patties into my processor and store the ground food in a cannister. A bit pricey as regular feedings for 3 dogs, so I mix this with a dehydrated brand.

    great addition to meals

    By elle9 on Mar 30, 2021

Not understanding the reviews saying these are hard, I easily break them up by hand and add to my picky dog’s dinner every night. He’s very excited for dinner with these, which makes me happy!

    Tyler Freeze-Dried Meals

By Brownie on Feb 13, 2021

I wasn't sure my very picky eater would like these but he really does. He eats them 1-2 times a day. He especially likes them for his dinner. They satisfy him and he settles down and sleeps well all night long. Now that he eats these there are no more loose stools for him.

    Crumbly mess. No good.

By Auggie on Feb 3, 2021

My Lhasa won't eat these at all. When you try to break patties in half or quarters, they crumble. Disappointed. Definitely much better products available.

Water couldn’t penetrate it. Hammer, nope. Knife made a dent. Cheese grater, rough going. Would be great for air hockey.
