This food does not contain any meal by-products.

How much water should be used to rehydrate per patty?
Answer by ChewyNov 29, 2020
This recipe can be fed as a full meal, fed whole or broken into pieces, or rehydrated with warm water. It can also be fed as a topper, served crumbled and mixed into dry food. When rehydrating, you can add as much water as needed to create a gravy or pate consistency.

Answer by ChewyOct 26, 2020
Tylee's sources from reputable suppliers in the USA and worldwide, dependent upon availability. The beef, chicken and salmon are sourced from USA.

Crumbles easily

I have tried many other "easy crumble" dehydrated bricks. Trust me they are not easy to crumble. I have arthritis and try to use a food processor but it didn't work. Kylie's brand that I am reviewing here comes in the form of a little hamburger it is very easy to crumble although because it is raw food I prefer not to handle it and I have a special food chopper just for this cause. My dogs love it I mix it with broth or canned vegetables or kibble it satisfies them and because it is freeze-dried it will expand in their bellies and keep them full.

got cut on sharp stem for the last time

I really like the ingredients and convenience, but when I crumble the biscuits for our 4-pound dog, I keep getting stabbed with something sharp (like from ground up, non-nutritive, indigestible plant stems). Today for the last time...we will be going back to The Honest Kitchen (messy, but reliably safe).

Watch for sharp bones

I ordered these as an alternative to a more expensive brand and I guess you get what you paid for. I opt to break the patties up and add water. As I was breaking them up I noticed many pieces of sharp bones in the patties. If I hadn't have broken them up I am afraid to think what might have gotten stuck in my dog's throat or stomach. I will never order them again.

Tylee's Chicken!

My boy likes the flavor of these patties. They are easy to break apart and hydrate quickly. The ingredients are healthy for him, I like that these patties are higher in calories than most freeze dried foods, we are both happy!

Great Stuff

Izzy and Keegan love these Pattie’s! Great value, our vet approved ingredients, (Izzy has server heart trouble so I have to make sure I get her the best dog food to promote heart health). I do mix a half of a patty with Purina Pro Plan for their morning meal. So happy I found Tyler’s Freeze Dried Meals.

Tasty mixers for food

My dogs love these yummy meal mixers. I crumble them and mix them with my dogs' regular kibble. Lots of protein and my dogs love them!

Decent price and ingredients, but very crumbly :(

After a lot of review, I decided to purchase Tylee's patties because they seemed best price-wise and ingredients-wise for the patty-type freeze-dried food, but in one of the two bags i purchased, most of the patties were broken and crumbled, which makes it very hard to figure out the right portion per meal. So i probably won't be buying these again.
