Is this food raw?
Answer by ChewyMay 19, 2019
All of Tylee’s recipes contain fully cooked animal protein and raw frozen fruits and vegetables.

Does microwaving dog food to heat it up zap the nutrients? I read it does and doesn’t...confusing. I also read white rice is easier for a dog to digest than brown?
Answer by ChewyJan 18, 2018
When properly defrosted in microwave at 50% power for 2 minutes (per cup of food) according to instructions on bag, the beneficial nutrients will be retained.

Where are the ingredients, meats/ vegetable/ fruits etc., sourced? Where in the U.S. is it made?
Answer by ChewyAug 25, 2019
Tylee's Human Grade ingredients are sourced from around the world, depending on availability, but nothing ever from China. Tylee's is proudly produced in the USA in Texas.

I’m eating again

My chihuahua hasn’t eaten consistently in over a year. We have to coax her to eat by putting cheese on her homemade food. This food has been every meal palatable. We are so grateful!

Overall Good

Our dog loves it! The only thing we noticed is that he’s been constipated and hasn’t been pooping as much since switching him to this food. We have since added more fiber rich foods to the recipe as well as a daily probiotic. I think they need to add more fiber in.

Great fresh food

My dog really likes this flavor, he likes this brand over a home delivery fresh dog food brand that we tried.

It seems the food is not fresh.

I ordered it for my dog and I don't know if it is supposed to smell that way but my dog when I gave it to him to smell just turned his head around and wouldn't touchit. Now I don't know what to do with it . I think I'm feeding it to the ducks.

1st Week of this food

Our two year old Shih Tzu has become very picky with regard to food. I am giving her her kibble along with Tylee's Turkey recipe. So far she does not eat the cranberries, and sometimes she eats the veggies and sometimes she doesn't. I think I should have bought smaller bags of different recipes instead of buying the 96 oz. bag. This way, she would have had a variety of flavors. Sometimes she eats all the turkey and leaves the kibble and sometimes she just walks away from her dish. Last night we gave her some elbow macaroni with the kibble and the Tylee's and she almost finished everything in her bowl. I only take out about 1/4 cup of the Tylee's from the bag. I microwave it to defrost for about 1.5 minutes, then cook it (microwave) for about 12 seconds to warm it up then mix it with the kibble. I'm hoping that Tylee's will work out for her.
