    Human Grade but Not Palatable

By LifeWASOSarcasm on Dec 20, 2017

First let me start by saying I prefer to give my dog the best least altered foods and treats so I was excited to have a chance to get these for my dog to try! The bag is filled well and the treats dont have that yucky treat smell most do. I read that these are human grade and since they were 100% natural First let me start by saying I prefer to give my dog the best least altered foods and treats so I was excited to have a chance to get these for my dog to try! The bag is filled well and the treats dont have that yucky treat smell most do. I read that these are human grade and since they were 100% natural turkey treats my curiosity got the best of me and I had to try a nibble. Needless to say dont make the same mistake I did, although they are human grade, they are not palatable to the human tongue, at least not for me. Anyway other than my opinion, my dog seems to love them and I am happy I can give my dog a natural treat to let him know Im proud of him for being a good dog when Im away from him. … more

Tylee's Turkey Jerky should be re-named Turkey FLAKES

By AnHonestReview on Dec 31, 2017

although my dog loves them... jerky is supposed to be meaty & chewy - these pieces are SO thinly sliced that they are 'more like flakes than jerky' - they also crumble in the bag (unlike jerky) into super small, flat, stringy pieces that feel like cardboard... and most likely, not easy to digest...

  • Thin and fragile

My pomeranians love the jerky, however it is extremely thin and fragile. The unbroken pieces at the top of the bag are about 4 inches by 2.5 inches. Less than half of the pieces are whole, the rest at the bottom of the bag are only small shards and crumbs....like potato chips at the bottom of the bag. I won't buy more....the jerky needs to be thicker and less prone to breakage.

  • My dog loves them but...

    By on

My dog goes absolutely crazy over these. He can't control himself when I reach for the bag of treats. However, the strips are so thin that he pretty much inhales them without really chewing them up much. This leads to him getting an upset tum tum :( If this brand made a thicker cut jerky treat I'd but more.

But they were dry, crumbled and small pieces. Difficult to use for training. Final word remains: Dogs love them!

  • Turkey treats

My Maltese and bishon like these but they crumble up when you try and reduce the size of them. I prefer a more firm texture of treats.

The dog seems to love it The concern I have with the product is that it is too thin And becomes a little brittle
