We have 2 dogs. One is a 10-year old, 35-pound, diabetic terrier mutt. The other is a 1 1/2 year old, 14 pound, terrier mutt. Both LOVE Tylee's food! Our diabetic girl is on a prescription diet, so we started cutting back a bit on that and supplementing with Tylee's. We have actually been able to reduce the amount of insulin we have to give her! The puppy absolutely loves this. We tried several foods once he turned one, but this is the one he devours! So happy we found it. And Chewy does such a great job of shipping it that it arrives completely frozen solid still. (And, it forced us to clean out our freezer with our first shipment, so that was a win-win!)

  • Satisfaction, at last!

My 70-lb Pit/Chow finicky eater has not been satisfied with any dog food. I have tried different brands, but she would leave her food all day and not touch it until late night when I may add some broth or a topper. From the very 1st day that I began transitioning her to Tylee's, I have not been able to get the food in her bowl fast enough. It tickles me to see her ears perk up when the microwave dings and she knows it's time to eat! Now the issue is not getting her to eat, but it seems like she just can't get enough. I am definitely a happy dog parent knowing that she is happy and satisfied with her meal, keep up the good work!

  • good product

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing Tylee's, both good and bad. Trying to find the most healthy food I can I decided to give it a try. I feed a high quality dry food right now for my German Shepherd and he loves it. I tried serving it as directions state, thaw and serve mixed with his normal dry food and he would have none of it, which is what some of the negative reviews stated. I decided to try and warm it up before mixing it in and this seems to be the answer. He loves it now. He stills likes the texture of the dry so the right mix for him seems to be 50/50. I believe Tylee's is a very nutritious product. I'm glad we tried it.

  • wow! My dog ate it!

Mr. Fussy is a very poor eater. And I’ve tried so many foods over the years that I thought I’d never find a food he would enjoy. I make him some meat topper every night for his food, and always worry that he's not getting enough quality vitamins and minerals. So, I keep looking. He likes turkey, so I decided to try the Tylee turkey and the chicken. Tonight, I put the turkey in a separate dish to see if he'd eat it. He ignored it, as he always does with hi dinner. I thought I had another loser! But, an hour later, he went over to the dish, and ate every bit of it! Success! So, at least for now, he likes this turkey dinner! I DON'T like all the packaging, though. It's a lot to put Mr. Fussy is a very poor eater. And I’ve tried so many foods over the years that I thought I’d never find a food he would enjoy. I DON'T like all the packaging, though. It's a lot to put out in the trash. It is packaged VERY well, with dry ice to keep it fresh. Knowing how expensive dry ice can be, that impressed me. The styrofoam container in the box impressed me, too. I just don’t like having all that packaging to toss out. Our town only allows so much each week, and if we exceed it, we have to buy special bags. That can get costly, too, as well as increasing the amount of trash I have to carry to the curb. This food is expensive. You only get about 20 cups in each bag. They say that is a 10 day supply. I couldn’t afford that, so I’ll use it as a topper. And a BIG thank you to Chewy for the sale price. … more

  • She's a lover!

I was not completely sold on Tylees the 1st time around because it seemed like it wasn't as wholesome. But, now onto my 2nd bag, I've a change of heart. My Peppaluv enjoys it better the 2nd time around also. I love the smell and I love that it is human grade edible (no I've not tasted it lol) but I could tell looking at the food. My only complaint: I wish there was a more veggie filled recipe or more veggies in the turkey recipe. Maybe tylees will work on that this year.

  • My doxies love it

I have 3 dachshunds and they all developed a taste for Tylee's from the first feeding. As soon as I head for the refrigerator, they are all on my heels :) I am sure the food chart will be helpful for acclimating dogs to the food especially those with sensitive stomach, however, I gave mine a 50/50 mixture (food they were used to eating mixed with Tylee's) all of mine had no tummy issues at all :) So glad I decided to try this food with them.

  • Tried it free...it was worth it.

Our dog is a table food eater so when I saw this food on Chewy to try free and human grade I figured it wouldn't hurt. Well he loves it. He is very finicky with can food and won't eat the Blue buffalo dry alone. Spoiled......yes he is......and this food is a good, nutritious filler to can food. I was having trouble with him eating in the mornings but now he licks the bowl clean everyday. He has 3/4 cup dry mixed with 3/4 cup Tylee's and a small handful of chicken morning and night. I just ordered more because the first bag is just about done. I recommend this to all dogs not just finicky or table food eaters. Good nutricious food for my dog......that's what I recommend. • Dogs loved it! :D

This was totally worth the money I spent on this because as soon as I opened the bag I could smell the wonderful smell and it also smelled just like turkey! I could tell that my dogs enjoyed the smell as well because they ran over and started sniffing the bag as well! My dogs are usually very picky and don't eat the things I give them but I am happy to say I found just the right food to keep them happy. When I served them they were very joyful and always are patiently waiting for there next meal!

  • Loving this food!

I switched my french bulldog puppy to this food fulltime starting at 6-months-old. It has been 6 weeks and she can't get enough. I alternate between the turkey and the chicken flavors. I love that it goes on sale BOGO too! My puppy's breath smells great, her teeth are clean and white and her flatulence is less frequent and not as smelly. She has boundless energy and I think this stuff is fantastic!

  • It's better than kibble, but...

I bought this because it was buy 1 get one, and I wanted to see if my dogs liked it. They do! I thought this would be a good additive to their diet, but I'm concerned about a few things.... the fat content is high, and the protein content is average for a dog food. There are about 59% calories from fat, and about 39% from protein..... a really good dog food will have more protein(yes I looked on dog food advisor!). Also, the protein content in this food is some meat, but also peas, flax seeds, and chia seeds; I'd want more protein from MEAT, which is what dogs are supposed to be eating mostly. So Chewie, to make this an exceptional food, add more meat please!!! :) but a good thing is the carb I bought this because it was buy 1 get one, and I wanted to see if my dogs liked it. They do!
