Description

UltiCare Insulin Syringes U-100 29 G x 0.5-in are used for the injection of U-100 (100 units per ml) insulin in pets with diabetes. However, it’s important to note that more than one concentration of insulin exists, so be sure that the syringe used matches the type of insulin prescribed for your pet.

Uses

Syringes are primarily used to administer insulin to dogs and cats.

Precautions

Used sharps should be immediately placed in a sharps disposal container. FDA-cleared sharps containers are generally available through pharmacies, medical supply companies, health care providers and online. These containers are made of puncture-resistant plastic with leak-resistant sides and bottom. They also have a tight fitting, puncture-resistant lid. If an FDA-cleared container is not available a heavy-duty plastic household container, such as a laundry detergent container can be used as an alternative.

    Vet Rx insulin syringes

    By on

the plunger is very hard to pull. Sorry to say that I will not be ordering these syringes again. I am very disappointed because ordering from Chewy is so convenient. I will continue to buy my dog food from Chewy and am very happy with Chewy overall. The customer service is terrific.

Seems to always have air bubbles

I recently switched because monoject stopped carrying the 12.7mm syringe. They are budget friendly but nothing I do gets the air pockets out.
