FDA-cleared sharps containers are generally available through pharmacies, medical supply companies, health care providers and online. If an FDA-cleared container is not available a heavy-duty plastic household container, such as a laundry detergent container can be used as an alternative.

Did not work for me
By SnickyMom on Jan 30, 2021
Granted, I am a relative neophyte at giving insulin to my cat, but had finally gotten to almost full accuracy (no misses for a long time) with his shots, until I tried this brand of syringes: I kept thinking, after 3 bad misses, that it was my ineptitude at shot-giving resurfacing. Then I realized it was the syringe itself. Once I got a small supply of good syringes from my vet, and then ordered more good ones elsewhere, I have not missed with the shot in over 3 weeks. All have completely and accurately gone in. So I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE SYRINGES. The first thing I hated about them was that the pusher in the syringe was not controllable---it kept pushing the insulin up even when I was not Granted, I am a relative neophyte at giving insulin to my cat, but had finally gotten to almost full accuracy (no misses for a long time) with his shots, until I tried this brand of syringes: I kept thinking, after 3 bad misses, that it was my ineptitude at shot-giving resurfacing. All have completely and accurately gone in. So I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE SYRINGES. The first thing I hated about them was that the pusher in the syringe was not controllable---it kept pushing the insulin up even when I was not touching it. Then the worst thing, was that the needle simply seemed to not go in the tent of skin on my cat, causing repeated misses in a row when he needed his shot. so he had to go a while with no shot, since vet advises not to give second shot if first one fails, since some insulin could have gone in even if a lot seems to have landed ineffectually on his fur. Sorry: this is the first Chewy product I've ordered I had such bad luck with. … more

Good product
By Mary on Feb 16, 2021
This is my first time ordering needles from Chewy. I like the bigger numbers, that is a big help. My one wish would be better price. I have been ordering from another place, different brand of needles, but getting 300 for about $40. with no shipping. They are currently out of stock, which is why I ordered from Chewy. These are fine quality syringes.

kitty approved
By FeedChia on Feb 7, 2021
My cat barely notices that she is getting a shot. The .5 markings are very visible. Its easy to know that I don't have to go out searching for needles.. The boxes from Wal-Mart usually have a 100 count, but I have to go into the store. I am disabled and getting into the store is not easy for me. This is assurance.

ok syringes
By Woody on Jan 22, 2021
Syringes were fine in construction and use with the possible exception of the sharpness of the needles. The needles do not seem to be as sharp as the ones I was using from the vets office. Pet flinched with these and did not with the ones from vet.

By insulin on Jan 18, 2021
I had been buying these on the big online retailer paying more than double this price. Their supplies were very unstable. Sometimes they had them sometimes they did not. Very Frustrating. I was So glad to find CHEWY had these in stock at a much better price.

Now I'll never run low
By Furrmomma on Jan 21, 2021
Very happy able to get this size from Chewy. What my Veterinarian recommends for my cat. Pharmacy keeps running out. Knowing I can get them from Chewys will help me from running out.

Easier to handle
By Jowhits on Sep 17, 2020
For use on my cat, I find the smaller syringe and needle length much easier to handle. I would love a smaller gauge.

Product is great, delivery not so much
By Debg on May 16, 2020
I guess Chewy has me spoiled, but Ive been used to getting delivery in a couple of days. This time I waited till I was almost out of insulin syringes and delivery took almost 10 days. Seems to me that Chewy should offer expedited shipping (for a fee of course) for emergency medical needs.
