Description

Insulin Syringes/Needles U-40 29 Gauge x 0.5-in are used for the injection of U-40 (40 units per ml) insulin in pets with diabetes. However, it’s important to note that more than one concentration of insulin exists, so be sure that the syringe used matches the type of insulin prescribed for your pet.

Proudly sourced directly from the manufacturer or their approved distributor. Guaranteed genuine and backed by the manufacturer.

Uses

Syringes are primarily used to administer insulin to dogs and cats.

Precautions

Used sharps should be immediately placed in a sharps disposal container. FDA-cleared sharps containers are generally available through pharmacies, medical supply companies, health care providers and online. These containers are made of puncture-resistant plastic with leak-resistant sides and bottom. They also have a tight fitting, puncture-resistant lid. If an FDA-cleared container is not available a heavy-duty plastic household container, such as a laundry detergent container can be used as an alternative.

    Necessity for my diabetic dog

By DogMom on Jul 11, 2021

These syringes are necessary for my dog to receive his insulin shots. The quality is great, although I don't think there is much choice in the product I can order, but I appreciate the auto ship for this item so that I won't worry about running out. They come packaged in sealed bags of 10 which is a good way to manage the supply.

    They don't hurt!

By Carol on May 21, 2021

These work well for insulin injections for my 15.5 year old poodle. He, my poodle, doesn't mind the injections, twice daily, using these syringes.

    UltiCare U-40 Syringes

    By smj999smj on Nov 2, 2020

These were prescribed by my vet for insulin injections on my diabetic cat. It is the same I can get from my vet, but about five dollars cheaper per box. They are easy to read and have a smooth action. Syringes are packed in bags of ten.

    Diabetic Dog

By Diesel on Jan 2, 2021

These are the best syringes to use for a smaller dog. Vet sells them at a much bigger cost.

    Excellent for frequent use

By ButterflyToy on Aug 22, 2020

We have a diabetic cat and must give him a subcutaneous insulin shot twice a day. These syringes have long, thin, very sharp needles, perfect for the type of injection we must give. Our cat, Sparky, became used to the shots very quickly, and the needles do not seem to cause any pain.

    Same product, cheaper packaging

By Dean on Nov 15, 2020

Same exact syringes as in the larger, more expensive package. Diabetic pet parents will appreciate this!

Product was good but not the service wasn't.

    By cat9 on Sep 11, 2020

This item took almost a week to ship even though it was in stock so I had to go back to the vet to get the supplies before I ran out

    Great price

By Courtney on May 12, 2020

These insulin needles are a great price. Only problem is a few were bent but for the price I will definitely reorder. When you have a sick baby every penny saved helps.
