Insulin Syringes/Needles U-40 29 Gauge x 0.5-in are used for the injection of U-40 (40 units per ml) insulin in pets with diabetes. However, it’s important to note that more than one concentration of insulin exists, so be sure that the syringe used matches the type of insulin prescribed for your pet. These insulin syringes also come with a sharps container for proper disposal.
UsesSyringes are primarily used to administer insulin to dogs and cats.
Precautions
Used sharps should be immediately placed in a sharps disposal container. FDA-cleared sharps containers are generally available through pharmacies, medical supply companies, health care providers and online. These containers are made of puncture-resistant plastic with leak-resistant sides and bottom. They also have a tight fitting, puncture-resistant lid. If an FDA-cleared container is not available a heavy-duty plastic household container, such as a laundry detergent container can be used as an alternative.

Great Deal
By RandomLady on Apr 7, 2021
I ordered insulin syringes for my cat. Arrived a few days later than anticipated which caused some scrambling to get just eight syringes from my vet. Was pleased to get a sharps’ disposal bin for the used syringes.

I will not buy these syringes again
By Susan on Feb 4, 2021
I actually love the container the syringes come in. It makes it easier to collect the syringe waste. When I compared these syringes to Merck syringes I thought these appeared slightly larger. After a while of using them, my dog began to get more and more upset about shot time. I switched back to Merck and the dog is starting to settle down a bit.

As expected

We have a diabetic cat who gets insulin twice a day. This combo pack is very nice, 100 syringes packed in groups of ten. Comes stored in the bottom, can pull out a pack as needed. The increments on the syringe is easy to read.

Our dog recently had to go on insulin. Chewy worked with our veterinarian to get him a supply of needles. Shipped the needles very fast. We will try Chewy for other items.

Convenient to use
By Becca on Nov 30, 2020
Easy to use syringes for my diabetic cat who gets insulin 2x/day. I've been using these for many months and they work well. My only complaint is that the 100 syringes are broken down into 10 packs. So after 5 days I'm needing to cut open a new pack and the perforation isn't as easy as I hope so I get out the scissors. I would love if somehow the dispenser worked like the toothpick/straw dispesers at restaurants. that would cut down on all the plastic bags and make grabbing 1 syringe easier (when I pull out 1, another 1-2 seem to come with and fall out and I have to stuff em back in) overall though I like these and keep ordering.

safe pack insulin syringes
By peggy on Jan 13, 2021
I am pleasantly surprised to see this system. Been keeping all of my used needles in boxes and unable to get rid of them.... very neat and compact and not an eye sore on my counter! The needles come packaged underneath and recycle at the top! MUST HAVE!

Wonderful packaging/container
By BooBoo on Jan 9, 2021
I was really impressed when I receive this product! It was an answer to my problem- it provided a place for the syringes to be held and also a safe way to dispose of used needles- specially having small children in the home it made me feel very confident that I had them put away safely.

Best syringes
By Syringes on Jan 4, 2021
These are the best syringes for my cat's insulin shots! The needle is so small he hardly feels his injection. He's been on insulin for 8 years now. The safe pack makes it so convenient to dispose the used syringes. So much cheaper than from the vet.
