The main differences are the Pro Pac Ultimates Chicken Meal & Brown Rice Dry Dog Food is not grain free and the Pro Pac Ultimates Heartland Choice Chicken & Potato Grain-Free Dry Dog Food is grain free.

Quick delivery

I usually buy my dogs kibble from my local pet store. However, when every store near me was sold out I had to turn to Chewy. I was happy with how quickly the food shipped and arrived because I needed it ASAP. Would certainly buy dog food from them again when in a pinch.

My dogs all hate this food

Been feeding my babies the 28# sweet potato version for years and they love it. But with the price going up I tried the 40# rice all three dogs hate it.

My dog loves this food!

We were feeding our dog a grain free dog food that breeder was feeding her. (Pro Pac which our dog liked)Our vet wanted us to put her on a food with grains. We were feeding her the lamb and rice which she liked, BUT the chicken and rice she loves. The lamb gave her more gas ha ha! I would recommend this brand and the chicken and rice flavor.

Ultimates is not the same recipe as Pro Pac was

Ultimates is not the same recipe as Pro Pac was. I contacted the company to ask if it was only new packaging. Their response: “In our Adult Chicken Meal and Brown Rice recipe (now called Ultimates Adult Chicken Meal & Rice): We removed - White Rice, Peas, Dried Egg Product, Apples, Blueberries, Cranberries, Carrots, Spinach, DL-Methionine, L-Lysine, Taurine, Yucca Schidigera Extract, L-Carnitine, Beta-Carotene, L-Ascorbyl-2-Polyphosphate (Source of Vitamin C) We added - Ground Rice, Rosemary Extract.“ I’m very disappointed in chewy’s response in the questions that the food has not changed, only the packaging.

was this a switch or replacement

order in the ProPac version of dog food, but it came in packaged as Ultimates. there was no notice of a switch or name change. Seems to be the same food just repackaged.

Made My Dog Very Sick

We had been feeding our dog this product for a while, until our latest order. Unbeknownst to us, there was a recall on this product and it made our dog very ill. After an emergency trip to the vet ($$$$) she is now, thankfully, on the mend. Needless to say we won't be ordering this food again.
