Inconsistent quality
Ive bought a few bags of this, and my dog seemed to enjoy it. But when I opened the next bag of the exact same stuff, my dog, who will eat just about anything, seemed really averse to it. Then I noticed that this batch had an overwhelming chemical or burnt plastic smell. Normally it just smells like a typical chickeny kibble. I dont feel comfortable continuing to feed this to him and Im not sure I want to reorder. Looks like other reviewers had similar issues lately. Chewy helped out with the situation. Giving some stars because the ingredients seem decent.
Refunded and Exchanged
I ordered this dog food because it was given 5 stars, and it came in a BIG bag. When it arrived the food itself smelled horrible like plastic chemicals. Two of my dogs would not even try a kibble. The other who ate it was gassing around all night. I had to order something else.
Seffi is safe
I couldn't get the Pro Pac Ultimates at my local pet food store, but I was able to get two bags of Seffi's food on Chewy. The delivery was way fast. thanks.
Bag split open
I was excited to go to the larger bag but the package topped open when I was moving it. I buy two bags at s time because I have 3 dogs. Since it was the second bag that ripped I had to go out and buy a container to store the food in.
I am confused
Propak and this Ultimates are not the same dog food. So the reviews confuse me. I fed propak to my 3 before and they liked it. I was interested in the Ultimates and now left to assume this is the one that smells bad and dogs don't like it. Bummer
Bad batch ?
This batch has a strong chemical smell and my dog refused to eat it - DO BETTER FOR OUR FUR BABIES
Great Ingredients Awful Smell
The ingredients are top notch; however, the two bags purchased have a very plastic smell to my human nose. Unfortunately, my dogs also seem to really dislike it, too. To give some context, I buy different dog food every order to keep my dog's gut biome diverse. I look at the ingredients, compare on dog food advisor, and listen to my dog's opinion (my dog's like picking their food and prefer different foods for breakfast and dinner lol) and this one, despite high rankings on dog food advisor, is comparatively bottom of the barrel. Buy a small bag if you still want to try it, just be prepared to buy a different brand if your dogs refuse to eat it.
Good food for money
Dogs seem to like it one of them didn't @ first but now he is eating it I will know better results after another bag
Smells horrible
I don't know if it always smells this bad, or if it's a bad batch. Tried to feed it to my dogs, and they don't like it at all.
Not the same as ProPac!
This food was shipped as a replacement for the ProPac chicken and rice which my dog has eaten her entire adult life. I just gave my English bulldog this food last night and she has terrible diarrhea today. Nothing else in her routine has changed so common sense tells me it must be the food. Now I have an entire new bag that just arrived today as I always have one bag on hand ugh. Guess I'll be checking to see if I can return it and now I'm on the hunt for new kibble.
