Key Benefits
  • Silica gel cat litter offers maximum odor control.
  • Absorbent micro crystals work fast to control moisture.

  • Ultra-fine crystals are 70% lighter than most clay crystals.
  • Sand-like consistency is super soft on cats’ paws.
Precautions

Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii—a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. Keep contents and packaging out of reach of children and pets. Seek medical help in case of accidental ingestion.

Transition Instructions

As with any new cat litter it is very important to introduce it gradually. Cats are not excited about litter changes so whenever introducing any new cat litter it is recommended that you incorporate some portion of the old litter to encourage cat’s trial. It may even be best to incorporate some clumps of waste or used litter from the currently used box during the first couple days. A 50% new on bottom / 50% old on top mix best for the first month gradually stirring the litters to mix and let the cat get used to the texture and sounds of the new litter. By the time you get to the start of month 2 the silica gel litter should be the only litter in the box with complete cat acceptance. You may also find it helpful to place the cat in the box after changing to pearls and comfort them into trying the texture and sound. Pearls may have more sound as they shift as the cat walks.

    Only one I use but....

This is by far the only litter I will use. I started off using clay, then I tried a natural pellets and then a friend gave me a bag of this stuff and I will never go back. It clumps immediately and there is no dust! I never feel like I am inhaling anything and two bags is just the perfect amount to fill my corner box for the two kitties I have. If everyone has a problem with smell it’s not the litter, it’s what you are feeding your cat. I switched to a raw diet after one of my cats lost like 5 lbs (he’s super healthy now) and their poops don’t smell at all!! Literally they can poop I can be standing right next to them, this litter clumps it instantly! No smell no mess! It’s amazing! But they This is by far the only litter I will use. I would 100% recommend this litter!! … more

    Pretty good

I recently changed this kind to the crystal kind because this was on sale and we thought this might work better for our cat because the crystals are quite big. We thought since this kind clumps so it might not smell as much as the crystal kind. But turns out this one not only clumps, it also sticks on the bottom of the litter box. Just know that you have to work really hard to make sure the litter doesn’t get stuck on the box. Overall it does what it does.

Buy crystal litter for the less smell, and longer lasting BUT This stuff I bought thinking the different shape might be easier on their feet pads. BUT it mad more MESS, more SMELL, and DID NOT Last as long as the previous brand I was buying and am going back to.

    I love this so far

    By on

Its been 2 weeks and the cats are still going in the box! This makes me very happy! I don't know why they all of a sudden didn't like the crystal litter I was using for the last year but for 3 weeks they went outside the box and it was making me crazy so I thought time to try something new and this one works! So I think it is great and it is softer on their paws and my feet, very fine like sand.

    Great Litter!

    By on

One of my cats is very picky about what litter he uses. He's actually using the litter box consistently now after having bought this clumping crystal litter. It clumps well and is good with odor control. I would recommend it. It's just a little too expensive: 5 lbs for $8.

    Very messy!

    By on

I thought that I would give this a try but it was a fail for me. I have an automatic litter box that is meant for the crystal litter and usually use either the non clumping version of this brand or Fresh Step. This version made a huge mess! It’s like beach sand, and the material stuck to the bottom of the pan was hard as a rock and was also stuck to the rake. It also didn’t “clump” all that well, most were little clumps that fell thru the manual scooper when I tried to scoop manually. Maybe it would work better with a non-automatic litter pan. I went back to the large crystals, much less mess!

    worst litter ever

    By on

I was excited when my human brought this home, beautiful colors and appearance. It clumps but sticks to my poop palace and is turning into cement. It pretty much made me want to pee anywhere but my poop palace.
