They’re designed to protect his paws from surfaces that are exposed to hours of the scorching sun, like sidewalks, concrete, asphalt, streets, boats, docks and sand. Two fuzzy fastener straps with slides fasten the boot in place and help to guard against slip off during activities. Plus, generous foam at the closure creates a secure grip and cushion for his paw. The boots also include breathable mesh uppers.

Please use our Pawprint-able Sizing Guide to help you obtain your pet's paw measurements. For the best fit, match the below dimensions to your pet's measurements as closely as possible. If your pet falls somewhere between two sizes, we advise ordering the larger of the two.
Paw Width: Using our Pawprint-able Sizing Guide, place your pet's paw on the diagram and mark the widest points at the left and right side of the paw. This area is usually near the base of the toes.
Paw Length: With you pet's paw still in position, mark the longest points at the front and back of the paw; remember your pet's nails will need to fit too.

These are well made, but my dog can't walk well in them, so they are unusable. My dog will wear soft dog socks, so I thought these might work, but they don't.
These worked pretty great! Kept my puppers pats cool and safe during our 5k. My only complaint would be if you dont put it on just right they can slip off. But other than that they're awesome.
After trying sooo many boots that were hard to put on, wouldn't stay on, and flipped from top to bottom every other step, I'm really happy with these. There are two straps to keep the boot on the foot, and the foam pads keep it from twisting. They have a nice protective sole and an airy upper. Note that you might have to buy one set for the front paws and another for the back paws if the sizes are different. But then you have two complete sets and that's certainly not a bad thing.
My little guy has severe summer allergies with some type of pollen so we bought these to protect his feet and minimize allergic reactions (red paws, itching, licking, etc). We have the winter brand of this boot and love them. But these? Not so great. One velcro strip was already looking a bit worn upon receipt, but we tried them anyway. He figured out how to work the velcro off in one night.
We bought these for our Aussi who needs them because of the horrible heat. She hates anything on her body and was difficult to get a good size measured--thus, our fault that they are a bit too small. We are going to hang on to them though as we will probably be getting a puppy by Fall. We have bought (over many years) quite a few of these booties as we had a Golden who bit on her feet a lot in the past due to allergies. They definitely are well made and usually stay on better than many booties we had tried. We have an array of these in our dog drawers (yes, the doggie drawers) and have to get a bigger size for the Aussi. The ones that fit her are worn out.
I’m giving this item 2 stars as the shoe is made well and should work well for low energy dogs. The Velcro straps do not stay attached well with my high energy VizslaLab pup.
They are super nice but my dog hates them and refuses to move while they are on. Even if being bribed with her favorite treats! I got them so I could take her on runs on the black top path they recently laid at the local reservoir.
Got these for my service dog to wear during the hot summer months in Southern CA. I like these a lot, they're affordable, fit nicely, and feel very sturdy!
Following the guide for measuring my dogs paw, she landed on the exact width of the small. It advised me to go larger, however those were too big. Ordered the small instead (2.25") and they weren't too hard to get on and will probably break in and be easier in time. She took to them quickly and they stay on well. They fit her foot better with some wiggle room instead of a lot of floppy leftover fabric. So, if your dog's paw lands right on the dimension of the boot I'd give that boot a try first. Also, Chewy was extremely easy with the refund for the pair that didn't work.
Helps my dog stability in the back legs and paws. Helps prevent paws burn
