Ultra Paws Doggie Socks for Dogs, Gerty

I have a maltese who weighs 6 1/2 pounds which I consider small-I order these in small and they do not fit

The socks come off her paws too easily. I got the smallest size and she does weigh 9 lbs but they don’t seem to stay on her paws.

Our gsd allowed me to put them on, but she is not a fan! They do help provide some traction, for our dog is losing use of rear legs. They tend to come off when she walks, as she drags her feet. We only use on rear legs. Front feet are as strong as ever !

My 12 lb dog is a Chihuahua- Jack Russell-Beagle mix, and doesn't have a lot of fur. It's been very cold where I live in Western NY, and the poor girl lifts her paws in pain in the snow and ice. I was hopeful that these socks would work, BUT....She fought me while I put on the first sock, and as I put on the second sock she pulled off the first one and growled and bit me. I bought the XS, and the size would have been perfect. I'm giving them to my friend's Shih Tzu. Maybe she will like them!

They appear a little small out of the bag but they fit with a little effort. They stay on for the most part & have really helped us keep her from licking her paws.

I bought these socks because my little dog had difficulty walking outside during the last cold snap so I thought the socks would help her. She didn’t mind wearing them as with actual dog boots but as she was walking, the socks came off.

I read all the reviews prior to my purchase. I ordered the largest size since other peopele stated that these ran small. They actually run tiny. I ordered the largest size available. It was noted for very large dogs like great pyranese. They are way too small for my german shepherd.

Bought these socks because my dog suffers from allergies, and has recently become a paw licker. What I like most about these socks is that they stretch, making it easy to put on him without causing any unnecessary stress. I purchased the socks in a small because the consensus of the people writing reviews were that the socks runs small. Unfortunately, the small is a bit too big for my 15 pound Maltipoo. I'm still going to keep the socks for him to wear at night, but will need to get the x-small for him to wear outside. What I like least about these socks is the minimal amount of traction they provide. These are a nice, tight knit with decent amount of anti-slip on one side. These stayed on our Basset with large feet for 5-6 hours indoors. I needed to remove them to go outside as they are made of sock material-not for wetness. I just can't recommend these though because XL is the largest they offer, our big-footed Basset fit in them with much, slow finagling but I can't imagine a REAL XL dog like Mastiff or St. Bernard ever fitting in them as they are so tight.

These socks are made very well, I like these socks. Will buy the other styles.
