Please use our Pawprint-able Sizing Guide to help you obtain your pet's paw measurements. For the best fit, match the below dimensions to your pet's measurements as closely as possible. If your pet falls somewhere between two sizes, we advise ordering the larger of the two.
-
Paw Width: Using our Pawprint-able Sizing Guide, place your pet's paw on the diagram and mark the widest points at the left and right side of the paw. This area is usually near the base of the toes.
-
Paw Length: With you pet's paw still in position, mark the longest points at the front and back of the paw; remember your pet's nails will need to fit too.

Better than I thought
By dons on Jun 11, 2022
fantastic service from Chewy! I ordered these on Tuesday afternoon and received them on Wednesday afternoon. Max has used them three times so far and no complaints. a little hard to get on but otherwise they do the job. so far they stay on if put on correctly. Long term , we will have to see.

you need to know this
By remi on May 15, 2022
This is the 4th pair of Ultra Paws I've purchased for my Standard Poodle. What you need to know is how to repair holes on the soles caused by toenails running booted over asphalt. There is a product called "Shoe Goo" that works beautifully. It's available at most hardware stores (red tube with white lettering). Pluses of the Ultra Paws include padded protection inside the boots underlying the straps, machine washability and double straps. They do not hinder his agility nor has he ever come up lame after wearing them. Living in Northern Arizona, these are a must for protection from stickers and heat.

I was skeptical
By Dave on May 18, 2022
we live in the Phoenix area and the pavement gets extremely hot in the summer months and my Husky Charlie needs some protection. These fit as advertised, they are something that my dog had to get used to when walking but after a two tries he was running in them like they were not even on. It actually comical watching him walk on them at first but the transition was a quick one. Charlie's paws protected and they will protect yours after they get used to walking in them. Very happy with these

poor fitting
By smlake on Jun 21, 2022
We measured before we bought but they were still far too big for our yorkie poo. Didn’t stay on longer than a few minutes and they were a pain to put on.

Durable and perfect.
By Frustrated on Mar 1, 2022
These boots are great. Our poodle is VERY active (chasing rabbits, digging under slate, running up and down ravines in snow, slush, mud and rocks) and after one week of use, they are like brand new (except for the dirt). They dry quickly and are easy to put on and STAY on! Yay. As for size, I paid attention to others who said they ran small, and I should have bought true to size. They are slightly large for her.

Neck too narrow
By PNVA on Apr 14, 2022
They need to put elastic into the neck opening-impossible to comfortably get a paw into the booty. I even tried the XL-the neck is still too narrow. Seem durable but the narrow neck is a design flaw.

I just bought our 4th pair
By Dilly on Feb 20, 2022
These are the best for my cocker mix pup. We live were there is snow cover 6 moths of the year and she won’t go out when it’s below 10F without her feet covered. They are stiff at first but they stay on and soften up after a loop around the block. My only two complaints are that the soles get holes by the end of the winter so they have to be replaced every year, and they don’t dry very fast so they kind of smelly.

These are the ONLY boots that stay on!
By HoneyAndMaisey on Mar 2, 2022
We’ve been buying these boots for years and they’re the only ones that stay on! We have a terrier/whippet and a jack russel/italian grayhound. They both have thin ankles and we’ve tried several types of boots and they always fell off. The Ultra Paws stay in because they have foam pads on the inside above the ankles and with the two velcro straps (one going clockwise and the other going counter clockwise around their ankles) they stay on! The flexible vinyl used for the base allows for the dogs to “feel” their surfaces. There are a two negatives. If the boots are used on hard surfaces (i.e. streets, sidewalks, rough surfaces) and your dog shuffles, like one of ours, it will shorten the length We’ve been buying these boots for years and they’re the only ones that stay on! Our dogs wear the boots in snow, so they can last up to two Minnesota winters. We use Shoe Goo to fill in any cracks and tears. The other negative is the velcro straps fray rather quickly. The price point is great (I’ve pain north of $90 for a set that have been used once because they kept falling off). I would 100% recommend them! … more

Size is an issue
By Stymied on Jan 29, 2022
I like the shoes, they look like they will be very sturdy. They are stiff but the top is well padded. My problem is the size chart is misleading. My dogs foot is 2.5 inches a small should fit. It doesn't. The boot is 3 inches across there is no extra room for "depth". If your dogs foot is a quarter of an inch thick or flat as a piece of paper they might fit. My dogs feet are .75 - 1 inch thick. I'm not sure a wider shoe is going to be better but I'm willing to give it a try, just need to figure out how much bigger I'll need.
