    These boots worked for us!

    Boomer is a 15 year old miniature poodle. He dislocated a hip slipping on our hardwood floor. The vet was able to put the joint back together and he is walking again but we simply had to prevent him from slipping on the floor again. He is now wearing these boots, only on the back feet, and he is doing great. They are easy to put on and take off so we remove them at night and he sleeps in his crate. They go back on in the morning. He doesn't fuss with them and has no trouble walking in them. He also wears them to go into the yard to potty. I have washed them and they come out great. I put them in a nylon mesh laundry bag and wash them in a cold water load of dark clothes then air dry them. I would recommend them for anyone with a senior dog having trouble navigating on slippery wood or tile floors. … more

    FYI - the box says to add 1/4" to your measurement

    I measured my dog's paws while standing and got the size suggested in the description for his measurement of 2 1/2" (size M says 2 3/4"); however, the opening measures 2" so was unable to squeeze the paw in. Then I noticed on the item box it came in, under "how to size", it says to add 1/4" to your measurement. Even though adding 1/4" to these should have worked, but not with a 2" opening at the top....FYI. The boot seems high quality, but we will have to wait until the L is available to know for sure since the opening at the top will be wider I assume. (I have a 85 lb. lab-pit mix with paws 2 1/2" across at widest part) … more
