There’s no odor, it’s easy to sift through and the bag doesn’t weigh 1000 pounds. If anyone knows of a cheaper, better product...let me know. Otherwise, I’m sticking with Ultra Pearls. … more

    Sneezing, itching, hard to breathe

By Britnee on Jun 16, 2020

not even an hour after dumping this into the box, me and my two cats were sneezing, itching and hard eye irritation. I didnt think anything had to do with the litter but then I read a review and someone else had the same issue! So soon as I got rid of it, we all stopped sneezing, my nose stopped running not even an hour after dumping this into the box, me and my two cats were sneezing, itching and hard eye irritation. I didnt think anything had to do with the litter but then I read a review and someone else had the same issue! So soon as I got rid of it, we all stopped sneezing, my nose stopped running, my eyes stopped watering and my throat stopped itching. That isnt that only issue.... the crystals are like little shards of glass. I have never had litter hard me or cut though my trash bag. It was like one bag experience with this litter after another.. They should just take this off the market and save everyone from a really bad experience for you and your pet. This is prank litter … more

    So far, so good

I tried this litter because I have one cat who refuses to use the litter box. I've tried both corn and clay litters, adding baking soda to the boxes, and even litter attractant, but nothing seems to help. Right now, the box with this silica gel seems to be helping. I've seen her use that box, though not regularly... yet. Hopefully, it's just a matter of time.

    Works well

Our elderly cat went through a psychotic moment where she randomly started peeing anywhere but her cat box. We used flushable pine for years with one UTI (3 years ago) but otherwise no issues. This time urinalysis was negative and we weren't sure what to do. Tried a special anti ammonia floor cleaner, new box, pheromones... this stuff magically seemed to fix it. Been spot free for a year since and going. We do have more dopple hangers around than before, but I figure she's just getting lazy on that end? It tracks, but so does EVERYTHING, believe me we tried. Best part is we flush the poop (even with old plumbing). If you dont scoop same half day, you'll smell it otherwise clear air. Almost as good as Pretty Litter

    By on

I bought this litter to mix with Pretty Litter to stretch the Pretty Litter further because it's more expensive. The consistency is almost the same as Pretty Litter. Of course it doesn't change colors but I don't care so much about that. The only complaint I have is that it Ultra Micro Crystals is dusty when you're pouring it into the litter box, whereas Pretty Litter is not.

    Less Litter Tracking

    By on

So far, I like it, and so does my cat. I keep two boxes - one with traditional litter, and one with Ultra. May cat seems to use the box with traditional litter for #2 and the box with Ultra for #1 (she's weird like that). As long as you stir up the crystals once a day to distribute the urine, odor control has not been an issue. And, there is much less litter trackage throughout the house. My cat is big - a Maine Coon - so I get about 3 weeks use out of a 5lb bag before it needs changing.

Our ragdoll really likes this litter. I purchased this for my elderly mom so she doesn’t have to scoop as often

    Great litter

    By on

I have been using micro crystal cat litter for years. This is a good brand, I just wish it came in a larger size. I prefer to have about 7 pounds of litter in each litter box. The micro crystals are good on my cats' paws. Each cat seems to like this litter with no issues. This brand seems to not produce as mush dust as other brands of micro crystal litter.

    Dusty but good

    By on

This product is great. The litter stays in the box, it's easy to scoop, and it does an excellent job of absorbing odor. The only problem that we have is the dust. There is a ton of dust when the litter was first poured into the box and whenever we scoop out the box.

    Good litter

    By on

The cats had no trouble adjusting to it. I like it because it doesn't clump per say. It dries out the poop and the urine evaporates and has no order. I have 2 cats and 1 bag lasts 3 weeks, so it's economical for me.
