Key Benefits
  • Silica gel cat litter offers maximum odor control.
  • Absorbent micro crystals work fast to control moisture.
  • Sanitary clumping formula requires just twice-a-week scooping.
  • Ultra-fine crystals are 70% lighter than most clay crystals.
  • Sand-like consistency is super soft on cats’ paws.
Precautions

Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii—a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. Keep contents and packaging out of reach of children and pets. Seek medical help in case of accidental ingestion.

Transition Instructions

As with any new cat litter it is very important to introduce it gradually. Cats are not excited about litter changes so whenever introducing any new cat litter it is recommended that you incorporate some portion of the old litter to encourage cat’s trial. It may even be best to incorporate some clumps of waste or used litter from the currently used box during the first couple days. A 50% new on bottom / 50% old on top mix best for the first month gradually stirring the litters to mix and let the cat get used to the texture and sounds of the new litter. By the time you get to the start of month 2 the silica gel litter should be the only litter in the box with complete cat acceptance. You may also find it helpful to place the cat in the box after changing to pearls and comfort them into trying the texture and sound. Pearls may have more sound as they shift as the cat walks.

    Good product

By Debbie on Jan 10, 2022

So far this litter is working great. Have tried 3 other brands and so far this is the only one that works as stated.

    What a mess!

By KittyMom on Dec 18, 2021

Tracked everywhere, and the dust was terrible! I don’t really have anything else to say, but the review requires 50 characters.

Availability is a problem, but its great

By avatarcraeft on Aug 26, 2021

This litter is really really good. I'm not a cat person, mostly because of the existence of cat litter and its associated smells, etc, but, my wife is.. so, that means I get to be, too.. woohoo! This makes my cat-life, well, almost tolerable, lol. The only problem is this product seems to have availability hiccups.. its been unavailable to order here (and the other online retailer racket) for at least a month. That's annoying, since its the best product I've found to keep my sanity around the litter functions.

    Great for odor control

By Melanie on Aug 22, 2021

I have one cat, before using this stuff I tried tons of litters and def deodorizers to try to control the smell of cat pee, nothing worked! This stuff is amazing a bag lasts me about 3 weeks and the smell control is AMAZING. One downside, it tracks quite a bit, but I can’t say if that is because it’s super trackable or because no matter what litter I use my cat LOVES TO PLAY in litter and is always digging it out of the box and scattering it around the house.

    Want the old litter back

By Kathe on Aug 26, 2021

Although the fine texture of this litter is soft on my cats feet, I find there is more tracking than with the last brand I used. I also find the clumping to be hard to clean up as it sticks to the pan. The odor is not as well covered with this product as it was with the last brand I used. Hope that brand is available again soon

    Still deciding

By VickiG on Jul 29, 2021

I tried this as an alternate to Pretty Litter. I like that it’s clumping and half the price. I don’t need the changing color for health monitoring. But still undecided because this stuff tracks like crazy. I have mats down, but also have hardwood floors and that crunch . . . of cat litter ugh! And it does tend to clump like concrete to the sides and bottom of the litter box. Going to try using a cooking spray before next fill to see if that helps. Lastly, I do have to pay shipping through Chewy. :-(

    Any Crystal Cat Litter

By lovelylady on Jul 14, 2021

My cats (7) don't particularly like crystal like litter - if used alone, no way- I mix several different brands (mostly cats pride light or similar, a cup of reasonably priced Dr Elsie's or similar regular clumping and a cup of crystal if I have it on hand). I've used the teeney blue crystal litter. I tried walnut litter (smelled bad upon pouring in) so gave that up. I scoop 2 to 3 times a day, have five working litter boxes for 7 cats and can instill odors by scooping (alot). 3 boxes in my basement and two in their plant/cat room haha. Scooping/removing urine & poop clumps is the trick. Plus working full time gets in the way too. Like Concrete

By TKTK on Jul 28, 2021

Trying crystal cat litter due to cats allergies. This does the job, but the clumping needs to improve. If the urine hits the bottom of the litter box it is impossible to get out. It sticks like concrete. Since my cat digs and pees in the same spot, I can't use this product.

    No recommended!

By SanchezSanchez on May 30, 2021

I have tried out nearly all clumping cat litter. This one comes in last place... With almost 0 odor control and the HUGE clouds of dust produced, I highly recommend trying other litter; literally any other litter. After 3 days of use, both my air purifier and air conditioning unit needed filter cleaning. HORRIBLE.

Love this litter for 3 cats

By KimN on May 4, 2021

Reading some of the other reviews...they aren't necessarily wrong. This litter does cement the pee to the bottom of the box. I put a thicker layer of litter in and have a metal scoop to keep that from being a problem. Another person said it was like a urine snowcone...that's fairly accurate, depending how much your cat pees at one time or if they always pee in the exact same spot. Haha Its also pretty dusty when you scoop it. That being said, I went searching for something better than clay because with 3 cats, one being a Maine Coon, my house had that "cats live here" ammonia smell. There was also clay litter tracked EVERYWHERE. I use this in two litter boxes that are actually large totes with openings on the lid. I put probably 5 inches in them. The box the cats use more frequently needs fully changed about once a month. The other one gets fully changed every two months. Despite the faults mentioned above, the tracking is considerably better than clay and my house doesn't stink. I tried almost every kind of litter on the market and this was the winner by far. I've been using it for 6+ months and have no intention of going back to clay. … more
