I've gotten this treat ball 2 other times and we loved it, but this time I went for the "no sugar added" ball. Our donkey obviously wasn't as interested in this one, but more importantly it was soft and it fell off the cord on the 1st day and was gobbled up by the goats. The regular ones last at least a week and hold his interest.
Lately my horses have decided to chew on everything!! I tried putting out better supplements, no-chew sprays & then I got some horse toys including one of these balls to hang off my barn where they like to chew my posts. Works like a charm keeping them occupied & distracted, lol.. I just wish they were a bit cheaper cause I'm definitely gonna need more.
MY horse is working it but has sticky residue on his back and rump. not sure i like this.
Seems good so far but it's still new. We'll see how it holds up.
She loved it so much that she ate the whole thing in 24 hours. Way too much money to spend on a treat to last a day
Been using these for years to keep horses happy. My dog loves them, too!
my big boy draft loves this keeps him busy while being stalled
Both of my horses love these. I enjoy adding them to their enrichment provisions, rotated with other items.
Very disappointed in this hanging ball. Hung it in the stall and the next morning it had come off of its rope and was on the stall floor (without a horse in the stall). Won’t ever purchase it again.
I put this in my horses stall on a Friday because I knew I wasnt going to be able to make it out much over the weekend to work her. I followed the instructions for hanging the treat ball. Come Monday when I was able to check on her the treatballs string had been snapped and the treat was laying in the horses shavings, almost completely gone. I am so worried if I would have left it any longer what would have happened. I'm not sure what is in the middle of this treat holding the string in, but all I know is even the string itself is colic worthy. Could have killed her if it was ingested.
