USA Bones & Chews Elk Antler Dog Chew is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 544.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Deeply disappointed. Not all antlers are the same! I know not all antlers are the same, but we ordered 2 of these antlers, the 5-7 size and the 8.5+. We got them today and within a hour and a half I noticed my small 15lb mix chewing on a tiny piece. I found 2 shards of leftover antler and who knows where the rest of it is. The larger antler seems to be in pretty good shape even with my full grown GSD going to town on it. What scares me is that my 15lb Pomeranian/Terrier mix could destroy an antler half her size in that short amount of time. At first my wife and I thought she might have hid it, but no. We scoured the entire house and didn't find a thing. We were really hoping for a longer lifespan out of these due to the high ratings. I hope this one was just the bad lemon. Point being, please watch your fur babies with these antlers at first. The 2 shards leftover that we found were sharp, and most certainly small enough to swallow. I'm sure we will buy more. Hoping for better results in the future!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Value, Excellent Product This elk antler was described as over 8.5 inches and it was probably 10.5 inches before giving it to my dog. She has had it for about 2 weeks and it is now down to about 10.25 inches. It is the first antler chew I purchased for her that is not the Prairie Dog Antlers for dogs. I stuck with that product since they are advertised as naturally shed or harvested in North America and found here on Chewy.com. This time I saw USA elk chew on a fantastic sale, much cheaper than the brand I was previously buying so I went for it. So glad I did! Even though, as another reviewer stated the picture shows an antler with two straight edges and was upset to receive it with a pointy end which can be used as a weapon (I totally get that) my dog enjoys starting at that end. It has a generous girth which means generous marrow and my lady pitbull cannot get enough of it. Could not find much on the brand on the web but here on Chewy.com the description showed these antlers are cruelty free, naturally shed in the USA, so I found it suitable for our household based on those details and Piggy finds in suitable for her needs. She even brings it to her bed when she goes to sleep! It weighs her head down, her head gets pulled to the side when she runs with it - so not only is it great excersize for her jaws, but also for her neck. We recommend this antler chew!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Two dogs one love I purchased one of these antlers because both dogs have two of every other type of chew item to indulge in so I figured it wouldn't be a big deal. WOAH was I wrong! It brought so much happiness to them both. My older dog took control and would not let her little bro chew it until she had her share. It's the same every day. If he has it, she takes it and makes him wait before letting him have it back. The antler is the perfect size for my 45-50 lb pups. I will add however, my youngest leaves a puddle of drool wherever he has it so you may not want to let them chew in bed :)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could be a great product once the dog gets to the marrow I have two pit bulls. I ordered the non-split Elk Bones because they chew up everything I give them, especially my 3 yr. old Am. Staffordshire Terrier. I received 2 Elk bones, one looked like the picture with square ends and the other looked like a long triangled horn. At first, neither dog had any interest in the bones. Then, my Staffie started chewing the square ended bone and once he got to the marrow, my other 9 yr. old pit dog joined in and they didn't stop until it was gone. The Staffie had chewed a little on the horn shaped bone but gave up on it after 1-1/2 days. The older pit was never interested in the pointed horn-shaped bone. So, the one they chewed lasted 3-4 days and was worth it. The other pointed bone received was not worth it and still just lays around. So, this is why I only gave three stars. I will say that the chewing they did on the bone calmed them both down as the Staffie is very hyper and needs my constant attention. It allowed me a break from him and he has seemed to be a lot calmer and not so very needy of my attention since he has finished the one bone. They were both abandoned and rescue dogs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great price I ordered 2 of these elk antlers for my 2 beagles. They came very quickly, just a couple of days. The only thing that I didn't like was the sticker that was on them was extremely hard to remove & left a sticky residue. I do know they come in all different shapes & sizes, but wish that I could have gotten the middle piece of the antler like the picture shows. They were a good size, I ordered the large size, & my dogs love them. I would definitely order more of these if they stay on sale.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My pup loves it! This antler is lasting a long time, she's had it for about two weeks or so and it's still going strong, not even half way gone! Smells a little, but is definitely tolerable and less smelly than other antlers we've tried. For a little insight, I would consider my pup a heavy chewer (finishes 12" bully sticks within one hour, demolishes cloth/stuffed toys within 15min, removes squeakers out of squeaky toys within 10min). I would definitely recommend this product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My puppy loves it I have been wasting a lot of money on chew toys because my 10 month old golden doodle has figured out how to tear them apart. I purchased this because the reviews said it would take him a lot longer to work through this. We have had it about 2 plus week and he is halfway through the bone. He likes it a lot. I also like the fact that these antlers are not taken from a animal that has been killed but that they fall off naturally. I would purchase again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent for heavy chewers I have a 10 month old yellow lab that is a monster chewer. He can pretty much destroy everything. We got this antler and a split antler at the same time. The split one he chewed up in less than one evening. We have had this one a few weeks and it is still going strong. His last one lasted him 4 months. No smell, no splintering and no mess. Definitely recommend.
