  • Great distraction for high energy dogs

I've got three Golden Retrievers, and all 3 love these bones. When they are new, I have to limit their time or they will chew without stopping. Unlike other bones we have bought in stores, these have not been cooked to the point of being brittle and breaking apart--my dogs have literally bit off chunks from knuckle bones from a different brand. My dogs are craziest about these for the first two chewing sessions where they will lick off the outer layer of meat remains and pull out the marrow, but they still love them for general chewing even when they are not new. I've ordered sets of these twice, and I will continue to buy them because they will keep the dogs' attention much longer than any treat I've got three Golden Retrievers, and all 3 love these bones. • Great to keep your dog busy!

Our dog loves this! It is hollow which is awesome because we can then put peanut butter in it. Is not sticky or smelly which is always a positive! But at first it is messy so be sure to let your dog eat it outside because it is flakey. I do not think the flavor lasted all that long because after about a week, she did not seem to enjoy it as much. That's when we put peanut butter in it and it was a whole new treat for her to enjoy!

I gave this bone to a dog with separation issues. The carries it around and keeps it close. I can get more than a few feet away from him with this bone. I bought it so I could stuff with peanut butter once the marrow was gone. He ate all the marrow in one day, but continued to enjoy with the PB. If he manages to eat the whole thing, or if one of his "big" cousins get it, I will be buying another.

  • My favorite bone yet

    By on

I've tried a few bones for my pup Riley. Most of them were extremely smelly and the meat pieces would coat the whoollee house. It was disastrous but I always bought more just because my dog loved them. While this one was extremely greasy, greasy to the point where I had to lock myself and my dog up in a room with no carpet so she wouldn't destroy the house with the grease, its the least messy (meat wise) and least smelly. She likes it just as much too.

  • Gigantic Dog Bone

    By on

I guess I didn't realize how big this bone was when I bought it! Yes, it is 6 in. long but it's just too big for out little Shih Tzu. I know SHE WOULD LOVE IT, but all it will do is make a big mess on the floor. We will try, somehow, to cut it into smaller pieces, but if not, we will give it to a friend who has a bigger dog. My fault for not realizing how big it was before I bought it!

  • Great for extreme chewers

    By on

I have a Jack Russell who's mission is to tear up every bone or toy as fast as possible. I also have a GSD, Boxer, and Dachshund. I bought 3 of these about a month ago and they have yet to put a dent in them. I recommend removing the marrow in the middle or giving it to them outside before you let them chew inside because it's really greasy. After they get the pieces on the outside of the bone off it's good to be inside and doesn't smell. Highly recommend for aggressive chewers like my pups.

  • Dogs loved them

    By on

All three of our dogs thoroughly enjoyed the roasted marrow bones. We kept the bones in the fridge in between chew times and tossed them out after a while. I will definitely treat them to these again someday. I should also say to plan on giving the bones to your dog when the are outside as they are a teensy bit messy.

  • Money well spent

    By on

My dogs love chewing things and have destroyed several solar lights and shoes. I gave them this bone and it helped right away. These bones are big enough that they hardly made a dent in it even after a week of being chewed on. The cost was really reasonable too. Definitely will be getting more of these.

  • My pup loves them! That's all that matters..

    By on

My 9 mos/65 lbs pup; his name is Litt (Boxer/German Shepherd/Hound.. just adorable! (I had emojis here: "smiling w/ eyes closed", "blow a kiss", "puppy") literally gobbled the bone marrow up in minutes.. not long lasting for my pup, but he loves them and I like that they're slightly roasted.. I'm a bit weary with giving him raw meat on a regular basis.. I've set these to Auto ship every 8 weeks.. whenever he finished with the bone marrow, I just stuff the bone with sweet potato wedges courtesy of Trader Joe's.. he loves sweet potatoes.. or stuff them with other filling options and freeze them for later..

  • My 2 Rotties Love them...made in the USA is a definite for me!

They have chewed on these 3 mornings now while getting ready for work. I put them up in a Freezer ziplock bag that I have poked holes in to let air out with a paper towel in between the 2, then put them in the frig until the next morning. Keeps them from getting dirty and they stay fresh.
