I volunteer at a cat rescue and this is the best litter scoop I’ve found for the pellet type litter that most shelters use. My only complaint is that the place where the handle meets the scoop is very thin and easily breaks, it doesn’t come completely apart but makes the scoop part wiggly. Fix that and this would be the perfect litter scoop.
For a plastic scoop, I have to say these are pretty sturdy. My last one lasted 4 years. No complaint here, glad to order a duplicate.
This long handle is so much easier to use. Wish I knew about it years ago.
This was so big, hard to handle. I wish Chewy carried the large size that I bought before, it was a little bigger than the standard size but not huge.
upon arrival we open the box, the scoop was shipped with the large bag of cat litter, the scoop was broken right in the middle... I went ahead and gave it to our daughter, I am sure it isn't the greatest gift she has ever gotten. maybe be more careful what is packed with what...
This scoop is great for my multi cat home. Also sturdy
The scoop is well built and easy to use. The ribs are well spaced and pick up all but the smallest clumps while the litter easily passes through them. I'm happy with it.
The first time I used the scoop!!!
Purchased 2 of this model litter scoop. One snapped in half where the scoop meets the base of the handle after about 3 weeks. The second scoop is now about to snap in the same spot after about 11 months of using it cautiously. I have one cat who has two litter boxes which get cleaned daily. I use Tidy Cats non-clumping litter which probably contributed to wear and tear on the scoop. Love the dimensions but scoop were not durable enough.
This litter scoop is wide, but the handle isn't that long. I was wanting a long handled scoop. Don't care that much about a wide surface. Will try to find another one with a long handle.
