Replacement for my old scoop

I have used one of these Van Ness scoops for several years now and it has finally started to crack. I just bought this to have a spare for when the old one finally wears out. For how long the old one lasted I would definitely recommend, it even held up during the time my senior boys had kidney disease and the litter clumps were large.

Wide works Better!!

The scoop I had been using for over twenty years was small and narrow. I saw this scoop and I saw this for a couple of dollars so I bought it. Oh my goodness what a difference it made Works Great. Made me wonder why I had used that small one for so long.

I Was Shocked at Small Size but Best Scoop I've Used

I first gave this a 1 star when I saw how little it was before using it. Once I used it I wanted to change my review but at that time it would not allow me to (few years back). I don't know why but this time little scoop works better than several large ones I have of different shapes. It is perfect for my four little box family.

I've tried many different litter scoops over the years and I have yet to find one that works better than this one. All the others are either too flimsy, or the holes are too big or too small. This one is just right.

The scoop is a lovely color but it is about half the density/weight of my original scoop which is disappointing. I can only scoop half as much litter with this one otherwise you can feel it wanting to bend.

I was looking for a simple scooper for my kittens litter box. This definitely does what it’s supposed to although the plastic can be a little flimsy, which is expected.

Scrapper Scoop

The scoop is fine if you don't use a litter liner. However, if you use a liner, this scoop has a scrapper on the back end which will puncture your liner.

And the price was amazing. Perfect size. Comfortable handle. Not sure why anyone would pay for an expensive litter scoop. This one is just right.
