  • High expectations, low satisfaction

I thought this was a dream come true for my 3 felines.. The theory was great. The practicality of it was useless. I have this in my new laundry room. Not a lot of extra space for cleanup. I tried to put enough litter in it that the urine would clump before it hit the sifter. I am 70 and it was so heavy, I had trouble getting the pans separated. Then found all the holes plugged with cement like urine. By the time I emptied it in to the plastic bag, I had litter everywhere. Will go back to my original pan and scoop. So much for perfecting the mousetrap!!

  • It's got room for improvement

    By on

It's okay so long as your cat doesn't kick their litter into the next county like mine does. I swear she's trying out for the soccer team. The typical issues remain- if you don't have enough litter, the urine soaks through and dries in the bottom of the sifter, so you have to deal with that. No matter what you do, you'll be up vacuuming up litter. Wife says: "It sucks"

  • More of a mess than anything

    By on

I thought this product would be great and easy to use. I thought all you would have to do would be to lift the sifting part and dump it out. But I was sorely mistaken. The sifter is great for poop, but the cat pee gets clumped and stuck in the holes. I end up making a huge mess every time I have to dump out everything. You would be much better off buying a regular litter box.

  • disappointed

I have been looking for ways to make things easier with the litter box management for two indoor cats. This did not help. In fact I end up with more of a mess when trying to use it as reccomended. If you want to new simple litter boxes for this price - then go for it. But the sifting does not work well. All the wet clumping litter gets trapped in the holes which are perhaps a little too big.

  • Here's the trick

    By on

I love this system...super fast to clean the box. Here is the trick to the box: Use decent clumping litter, make sure you keep the litter level high enough (so the urine clumps before it hits the sifter) and clean it often. When I clean it, it gets litter added every time. It takes just a couple minutes to sift and flip to the empty pan. I have 2 cats and clean it every other day with no issues. I had to tap the pan once when cleaning because they used the very corner. Cat are purr-fectly happy!

  • Not tall enough

    By on

I have 1 cat & he was still able to kick litter out of the box, the top cover is not tall to keep litter inside the box. I had to go back to my old box, But I'm keeping the box because someone is gifting me a sifter which I will need the pans for to dump the litter into while I put the sifter back in the taller sided litter box that I already have. Also the sifter of this pan doesn't clean out very well if your litter level is low.

  • litter boxes

We have 4 cats and need good cat boxes and these seem to do the trick. The only complaint that I have is the front of the boxes is to low the scratching of the litter sends it flying out the front.

  • I don’t know about this

    By on

Interesting concept. It would be great if the clean litter didn’t sift through the holes. I took the sifter out and I’m just using the pan. I would not buy again

  • Very disappointed

I bought 4 of these and 1 arrived warped and unusable and never received my refund. Then my cats used them and the sifting did not work at all. Very disappointed.

  • Very useful

It took me a second to figure out this litter box but it's been very helpful since I've started using it. I would suggest having a large mouthed trashcan to dump it into otherwise you'll end up with a mess, like I did my first time emptying it haha.
