Key Benefits
  • Helps to kill and repel ticks, fleas, mosquitos, mites (excluding mange mites), lice, biting flies and sand flies.
  • Formulated to protect your BFF from pests for up to 1 month!
  • Helps prevent all flea stages from developing.
  • Waterproof solution dries quickly and isn’t greasy like other flea and tick treatments.
  • Available in other sizes (sold separately) so mutts and dogs from all breeds can get the protection they need.

Important Information

Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

    Amazing stuff

    By on

I have used frontline, K9 Advantix and many other for fleas, ticks and flies. This is by far the best product I have ever found. I had bad issues with flies getting on their ears and I used fly away and other which did not work. This work right away. I am in love with this stuff.

    Helped a little

    By on

Frontline was no longer effective for our 6 dogs, so I got Vectra to try. We were very careful to apply it correctly. It helped for about two weeks, but now our dogs are scratching and biting again.

    Does Not Prevent Ticks!

    By on

I purchased this based off of the reviews, followed all directions and am still pulling ticks off of both my dogs every day. Maybe I got a bad batch? I'm just overall extremely disappointed in the fact that this is not doing what it was supposed to, risking my dogs contracting a tick borne illness and I was hoping this would be the last time I had to hunt for a flea and tick topical that actually works. Guess I will keep looking :(

    Not effective

    By on

Our dog was given Vectra 3D from the SPCA we adopted him from. We decided to utilize the SPCA’s vet clinic as well and we purchased the same Vectra 3D topical application. The vet was out but recommended to purchase it from chewy.com. We did. Package looks the same but not as effective at all!!! After 2 weeks, we picked off 4 ticks and today, 2 more ticks. As we were pulling the ticks off we saw fleas!

    Unsure of this product

    By on

First month with this on our dog & I pulled 2 ticks off of her. One on her belly and one on her inner thigh. Thankfully she doesn't have a ton of fur so the ticks were visible, but I'd still be extra vigilant in checking for them. Even if they fall off after they attach, I'm still a little nervous about them being able to climb on me or my husband. We will see, moving forward, if it gets any better

    Exactly what my Aussie needed

    By on

Last year we used a consumable flea/tick medication. 1) My Aussie suffered multiple rounds of pyoderma and dermatitis stemming from bug bites. 2) I was sure that every time he took the old flea/tick med he would itch excessively for a week or so. I just read recently that itching is a side effect so it wasn't my imagination. At the end of last summer I switched to Vectra 3d mainly because it is also a repellent and he needed all of the help he could get. After many rounds of dermatitis and pyoderma on the old medication, he has not even shown any bites so far this spring. I think his skin issues may be resolved without any further allergy testing.

    My favorite flea & tick

    By on

I love Vectra. Frontline stopped working so I switched to this topical treatment. This treatment works extremely well, I never see fleas or ticks on the dogs. It also deters mosquitoes, which are the carrier of heartworm. The product dries quickly and doesn’t bother any of my dogs.

Product worked for a couple of days but after I saw fleas on my pup. I live in North east florida, tried Frontline and now this and they both do not help. We walk our pups when out.
