Description

Help protect your canine companion from pesky pests with the strength of Vectra 3D Flea & Tick Treatment for Small Dogs (11-20 pounds). This waterproof topical solution is formulated to provide your pup with up to one month of protection by killing and repelling fleas, mosquitoes, biting flies and sand flies, mites (excluding mange mites) and a variety of ticks including brown dog ticks, American dog ticks, deer ticks, gulf coast ticks and lone star ticks! But that’s not all—Vectra 3D can also help decrease flea feeding in just five minutes and help kill fleas that may cause flea allergy dermatitis, also known as hot spots, which can result in itching and discomfort. It’s also quick-drying, non-greasy and comes in a tube for easy application. Vectra 3D Flea & Tick Treatment is available in other sizes based on body weight (sold separately), so dogs from all barks of life can get the protection they need and deserve!

Key Benefits
  • Helps to kill and repel ticks, fleas, mosquitos, mites (excluding mange mites), lice, biting flies and sand flies.
  • Formulated to protect your BFF from pests for up to 1 month!
  • Helps prevent all flea stages from developing.
  • Waterproof solution dries quickly and isn’t greasy like other flea and tick treatments.
  • Available in other sizes (sold separately) so mutts and dogs from all breeds can get the protection they need.

Important Information

Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

    Keeps those ticks off!

    By AJG7 on Sep 1, 2021

My girl was on Vectra 3D because it has a hot-foot effect for mosquitos and ticks, and we live in an area with both. She came up north with heartworm (and larvae in her blood) so we had to be super careful. I'm keeping her on this -- I'm happy with the tick-prevention and rarely find a tick on her by the time we get home and I look her over. Does that correlate to Vectra 3D or some other reason? I don't know, but this is working for us. She is a short-hair black lab/terrier mix. ORDER FROM CHEWY so you know it's the real deal and not very old product. If you order from elsewhere, you don't know the source the vendor used. Ordering from your vet is 1.5-2X the price. I wear gloves and "dot it" up her spine in short lines, which makes it easier to know the product is going all the way up tail to shoulders. I take my time to get it close to her skin and rarely see an oily line up her back. I use it before bed and then in the morning give her a quick brushing down her back if any residue is left or the "previously wet line" is still there. … more

Thank Goodness for Flea and Tick Treatments

By DoubleDoxies on Sep 13, 2021

With such an extremely warm and humid summer this year, keeping the mosquitoes away was an additional bonus while using Vectra. Mosquitos would fly around my pups but never land on them!!!

    Veterinary Dermatologist/Allergist Recommended

By HouseOfDogs on Jun 22, 2021

This is the product my dog's Dermatology/Allergy specialist recommends. It's fast and effective and does not cause the skin irritation that I've seen with products containing permethrins. It's quite waterproof as my dogs are constantly in the pool and we've not had any problems with fleas or ticks.

    This works and is convenient

By Jessica on Mar 18, 2021

This works excellent as a preventative for all pests. I highly recommend. It’s great for our small dog, a Cavalier King Charles! Orals made my last dog very sick. This is a safe effective topical. I’m happy with it so far after many months of use.

    The Best Flea Med

By Betts on Feb 8, 2021

I have used Vectra for my dogs for the past 5 years and it has always been effective. It not only takes care of fleas but also mosquito. I had used Frontline and found it very ineffective.

    Not effective

    By Lex0 on Oct 17, 2020

We live in New Orleans, so I will acknowledge that fleas are especially bad here. However, this is the least effective flea prevention I have tried. Less than two weeks after application, I’ve noticed fleas on my dog each month. I thought maybe after several months it would start working better, especially as the weather starts to cool off, but I keep finding fleas on him. I’m very unhappy with this product.

    MyDogLovesChewy

By HappyPetOwner on Sep 19, 2020

I think I seen a flea on my dog when she was 8 weeks old on the day I brought her home from the breeder. I started using Frontline for several years. Then I read about Vectra 3D how it protects my pet from more things than Frontline so I have been using it and my pet is not scratching as much as she use to at all.
