Description

Help protect your canine companion from pesky pests with the strength of Vectra 3D Flea & Tick Treatment for Large Dogs (56-95 pounds). This waterproof topical solution is formulated to provide your pup with up to one month of protection by killing and repelling fleas, mosquitoes, biting flies and sand flies, mites (excluding mange mites) and a variety of ticks including brown dog ticks, American dog ticks, deer ticks, gulf coast ticks and lone star ticks! But that’s not all—Vectra 3D can also help decrease flea feeding in just five minutes and help kill fleas that may cause flea allergy dermatitis, also known as hot spots, which can result in itching and discomfort. It’s also quick-drying, non-greasy and comes in a tube for easy application. Vectra 3D Flea & Tick Treatment is available in other sizes based on body weight (sold separately), so dogs from all barks of life can get the protection they need and deserve!

Key Benefits
  • Helps to kill and repel ticks, fleas, mosquitos, mites (excluding mange mites), lice, biting flies and sand flies.
  • Formulated to protect your BFF from pests for up to 1 month!
  • Helps prevent all flea stages from developing.
  • Waterproof solution dries quickly and isn’t greasy like other flea and tick treatments.
  • Available in other sizes (sold separately) so mutts and dogs from all breeds can get the protection they need.

Important Information

Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

    Best stuff on the market!

By StephanieAndVinnie on Dec 31, 2020

I have been using Vectra 3D for almost 5 years now. I used to use the pill Comfortis but it was not working when I moved back to Maine so I switched and never looked back!! I do a lot of hiking and camping with my dog and there are always fleas, ticks, and biting flies where we go. Vinnie is allergic to fleas, mosquitoes, and black flies so I needed something broad spectrum. This stuff works great!! It is greasy for the first 3-4 days after application despite what the packaging says, but I highly recommend this stuff! It is the only preventative product I have found that the fleas, ticks, etc are not resistant to and works no matter where I live!

By Dlynn on Jan 12, 2021

Did not agree with my lab pit mix. My baby! If you see any bumps form out of nowhere stop using this product. I didnt realize this product didnt agree with him until 3rd dose. He was lethargic for 2 days. Be careful. Read online reviews that i did not and decide for yourself about this product.

Works well but greasy/sticky for days

By Kate on Oct 26, 2020

This is NOT quick drying and is NOT non-greasy, I can't believe the company can even attempt to claim this. My dogs been on Vectra 3D for over 6 years now, given to him monthly & recommended by our vet. For the next 3-4 days after application, your dogs fur will be greasy/sticky just along the back where applied. Its annoying because I have to remember to warn everyone before they pet him & I try not to touch that area otherwise I have to wash my hands. Bits of lint and dirt get stuck to the fur (where applied) from being so greasy. BUT! This stuff really works. My dogs allergic to insect saliva so its imperative we use the best quality flea/tick medication. He has seizures so he can't take This is NOT quick drying and is NOT non-greasy, I can't believe the company can even attempt to claim this. Unfortunately, my dog now weighs 100 lbs and the highest dose Chewy sells of Vectra 3D is up to 95 lbs so I worry about effectiveness now due to recent weight gain but haven't had any issues so far. He's on a diet and we're working on getting him back to 90 lbs. I do recommend Vectra 3D, its annoying how greasy and sticky it is for 3-4 days after application but that doesn't stop us from using it because of how effective it is. … more

    Good product

By Nancy on Oct 23, 2020

We have used Vectra 3D for 3-4 years now from puppies to adult dogs and it has always worked for us. We live in the middle of the woods and also near open fields that always have a herd of deer in them. I like this because it kills on contact as opposed to having to wait for the tick to bite the dog first. There is less of a chance that the dog will carry the fleas and ticks into the house where they will fall off and either bite me or multiply in the house because they didn’t bite the dog first and die. I also really like the applicator because it allows for smooth, scratch-free application. With the other brands I was afraid I was going to scratch my dog.

    Reliable Flea Prevention & Treatment

By Kait on Oct 20, 2020

My vet recommended Vectra 3D after my Aussie got fleas and had a terrible allergic reaction. We use this on all four dogs monthly and have had zero issues. Much cheaper to purchase through Chewy than the vets office. So easy to apply and very reliable. Tip: If your dogs has fleas/may have fleas sure to let them outside immediately after applying. The vet said that the fleas just start jumping off immediately and you do not want them to become houseguests. About fifteen minutes outside seems to do the trick for us!

Vectra is great but watch for price spikes from Chewy without notice.

By Annie on Dec 29, 2020

This is a great product but I'm glad I checked my next auto ship. This went from around $76 to $114. That's an insane price jump in the matter of a few months.

    The Best For Ticks

    By K9Edwin on Oct 7, 2020

I’ve used this for 5+ years, I live in the Hudson Valley of New York, one of the most tick infested areas of the county, and on 50 acres in the woods, to make it even worse. I’ve removed ONE tick, since using this. I’ve literally seen ticks WALK OFF THE DOG. I swear by it. I’ve never had a flea problem, so I assume it works well for that too. Also I’ve never had any side effects. I just wish the 95lb + Red tube was more available. I have a 100lb Labrador and a 98lb Malinois, and Chewy doesn’t seem to carry it too often.

    NOT GOOD. FLEAS GOT WORSE

By Goose on Sep 1, 2020

This did not work. I adopted my dog from the shelter, and he had some fleas. However, after this product, it seemed like there were even more fleas on him. I found one or two dead fleas on his bedding, but the other 30+ fleas on him were not lethargic or dying at all. They were having a hay day. A ball. A party on my poor dog. Bad product.

    Great package and price

By Sheri on Sep 3, 2020

I was very happy to find my dogs’ medicine in a 6-pack (rather than a 3-pack) and at such a good price. Made ordering to keep my pups pest-free much easier!
