Put my YBs on this stuff and winning. Great nutrition. The small seed aids the molt and is great to feed before races. Less bulky food to digest prior to a race.
healthy and happy
Pigeons love them and picks all of them! Not a grain left. I used to buy Browns Kafir pigeons food. This is far better ingredients and pigeons just love them. Awesome product! And very nicely priced! Thanks Versele-Laga!
Expensive and not worth it
I wished when they advertised with pictures that it would match the product you received. I have to honestly say its the cleanest feed compared to the other ones I bought (of the same brand) but clean mix should be a standard not a miss or hit. Chewy does a really good job getting this product shipped very quickly unfortunately I’m not satisfied with the mix so its not their fault because as the bag was sealed and delivered on time. Not sure if Versele Laga changed the appearance of their mixes but mine came with only one color of the PLUS IC pellets. I wanted to save money and stop buying separate pellets so I decided to get this mix because it already has added pellets. I was disappointed, it was not as colorful as you see in the picture, the only pellets I could spot in the bag are the brown colored ones. If they changed their mix then they need to update the information including pictures. I want to provide all of the benefits available to my pigeons and specially what I paid for. How would I know I’m getting the product I paid if they don’t match the description?
Normally a great feed, but expiration date is so close on last bag
My title says it's all. I am a diehard Versele Laga user and use many of their products. I'm on autoship for them all including this grain and the classic with no corn. My last autoship arrived with the classic having an expiration date approx 16 months away. The IC energy however expires in just about 3 months, not the typical length I've had before. So, I question the grain freshness and even had a few birds start regurgitating this grain. I highly recommend this grain and brand but only when I know it's fresh!
Better than Brown's!
My pigeons used to be fed Brown's brand pigeon food, but when they were out of stock , I tried this. My pigeons eat most of the feed rather than picking out certain seeds like they did with Browns. This will be my new feed from now on.
My opinion
Feed mix is ok Not sure if I would race off of this mix But otherwise a decent mix pigeons left all the half peas with the green and brown mini grain that was first time introducing this mix to them next day feeding which was yesterday same thing one thing I don’t do is over feed way to many pigeons to do that but to have extra feed at my door step is cool
