Perfect window seat!

Working from home has unique challenges, one of which is keeping the dang cats off the dang laptop! My desk faces a sunny window, and the lure of sunshine plus a warm laptop was too much to resist for my cats. So I got this cat tree and put it NEXT to my desk, sprayed it with a little catnip and put a K&H heating pad underneath the top pad----nobody sleeps on my laptop anymore! It's the perfect height for chattering at chipmunks and watching the leaves fall off the trees. It was easy to put together, and looks very clean and handsome. My CH cat likes to sleep in the cubby at the bottom (she isn't a good jumper, see also: CH). Nice design, I'm pleased with the purchase, and so are my cats!

Good looking, but not really appreciated by cats

3 cats of quite different personalities, and tried in 3 different locations...just not getting any buy in from any of them. Unless I'm sitting at the chair right next to it--they don't show any interest. Right now it's right where the old one was located, where it was used so constantly that it just had to be replaced. I guess my cats aren't too keen on this things clean lines and good looks, even with liberal catnip inducements. Bummer.
