Instructions

Shake well before use. Dilute 4 oz. of Lime Sulfur Dip in one gallon of water. Mix the solution well and use gloves when applying to the animal’s skin. Bathe the animal with a shampoo and rinse well prior to application. Apply the diluted Lime Sulfur Dip solution liberally as a rinse or dip at 5-7 day intervals directly over the affected areas on the pet and massage into the skin. Allow the product to air dry and don not rinse. Do not allow the animal to lick hair coat until dry to prevent ingestion. For more chronic and resistant cases, Lime Sulfur Dip may be used at 8 oz per gallon of water. If a precipitate or crust occurs with the dip, immerse sealed container in warm water for 15 minutes and shake well before use.

Reapply the dip once a week as often as needed.

Don’t know what all the fuss is about. After reading other reviews I was waiting for all the smell, staining of porous materials, and stained white cats. Could not use gloves in my case because I couldn’t keep control of the wild ones. Skin didn’t yellow as others claimed. None of it happened as I had to treat six cats in my new tiled bathroom. Yes the liquid is yellow, yes there is a slight smell, but nothing unbearable. When the cats dry, no stained hair or skin. Tips to help out: Clothes pins and hand towels clipped around their neck while they dry works to calm them and keep them from licking themselves and each other. • Amazing product

Couple months ago we found out our kitten has ringworm or any other fungal infection, we used a lot of other products but after her hair grew back the itchiness stayed and I found this product. It had a lot of mixed reviews but I decided to try it. I must say it worked right away, our kitten stopped scratching herself as often she did. She scratched herself after every 10-20 mins and it has stopped I must admit even after couple days her fur smelled like rotten eggs. Also when I mixed it with water then it smelled really really bad but it worked. I don't mind the smell if it makes our kitten feel better. I definitely recommend this product.

  • Mange free

I had tried several things before running across this product on chewy .com. This stuff works. I didn't have to use as much as required on bottle only because my little girl is only 12 pounds. But after 2 rises she is so much better. The itching is gone. The smell is bad but it worked. We just aired the house out which was difficult during winter. I have already recommended it to a friend.

  • Excellent All Around

Great product knowledge, fast delivery and best of all the sulfur dip worked like a charm (although it really stinks) and our pooch is now almost completely healed after one dip. It also probably saved me a couple hundred bucks from the vet.

  • effective medicine

never expected that this medicine would work on my hamster's mites. I was really alarmed when some parts of his body got bald due to the mites that I really bought this asap. the smell is horrible but its worth it because it is effective. just mix it with water and apply to the affected area.

  • No help just yet

I got this for my cat who has a pretty itchy head. The vet says it's not a bug and that his skin and fur look fine...but that I can keep using the dip since it should eventually relieve the itch. It's just so hard to bathe a cat especially since he shouldn't lick it...it takes forever to dry even with a blow dryer that I had to give up and then try and keep him from licking. I made an 1/8 of the solution and it was still too much for just the cats head.
