Instructions

Shake well before use. Dilute 4 oz. of Lime Sulfur Dip in one gallon of water. Mix the solution well and use gloves when applying to the animal’s skin. Bathe the animal with a shampoo and rinse well prior to application. Apply the diluted Lime Sulfur Dip solution liberally as a rinse or dip at 5-7 day intervals directly over the affected areas on the pet and massage into the skin. Allow the product to air dry and don not rinse. Do not allow the animal to lick hair coat until dry to prevent ingestion. For more chronic and resistant cases, Lime Sulfur Dip may be used at 8 oz per gallon of water. If a precipitate or crust occurs with the dip, immerse sealed container in warm water for 15 minutes and shake well before use.

Reapply the dip once a week as often as needed.

  • No help just yet

I got this for my cat who has a pretty itchy head. The vet says it's not a bug and that his skin and fur look fine...but that I can keep using the dip since it should eventually relieve the itch. It's just so hard to bathe a cat especially since he shouldn't lick it...it takes forever to dry even with a blow dryer that I had to give up and then try and keep him from licking. I made an 1/8 of the solution and it was still too much for just the cats head.

I recently got a Pit/chow mix. She was just a few weeks old and had mange...horribly. I didn't know she had it until we got home and I have her a bath. All of her fur came off. She looked so pitiful. I decided to try this stuff and it is amazing. 3 weeks in on treatments and she has most of her fur back and no visible mange.

Such a relief to see how quickly my cat responded to this dip. Saved a small fortune in vet bills too. Chewy's prices are great and their delivery is quick.

  • Didn't need

I found out I didn't actually need it but I did sniff it and the smell wasn't terrible but not great either. Didn't know how to rate the rest.
