Please read the directions fully. I thought this was a shampoo, but it is actually a topic solutions that is not to be rinsed. My American Bully started breaking out with these spots along with substantial hair loss. I took him to the vet and found out he had a parasite. They gave me a pill, but I would have thought because his skin is clearly affected they should have given me a shampoo or ointment. They told me it should start clearing up in a week or so. Well its been 3 weeks and it looks worse. Now the spots are bigger and bumper and a lot more of them. Well I saw the reviews for this and had to have it. I didnt read the instructions and applied it as a shampoo which reading is fundamental! Anyway once I saw that this was suppose to be diluted 4oz to 1 gallon water I immediately washed it off and apply an oatmeal shampoo. I can say after washing him down 2 times after applying this stuff all the dry bumps were gone. It did expose red spots that I knew were buried underneath. Once I got him thoroughly cleaned and dried I applied the ointment (Sulfodene 3 in One). Final result, no itching, no crusted up bumps and his coat is not dull like it was. Since that early fiasco I have diluted the solution in a 2 oz /64 oz. It says to apply with a sponge directly to the affected area, do not rinse and let fully dry. Apply every 5-7 days as needed. I will up date in about a month to let you know how my baby boy is doing. I will also update with before and after pictures. Wish us luck! … more
