    The cats like it!

So many cats, so many types of litter. I have tried most kinds. This could be a favourite. It's mostly about what the cats approve although I prefer something that doesn't track too much. This doesn't seem to but I have a "shoveller" who tends to empty half the box onto the floor....not much one can So many cats, so many types of litter. I have tried most kinds. Worst cat litter for long haired cats

By Melissa on Jun 3, 2020

I used to use Dr Elsey's crystal cat litter as it does not stick to long haired cats, the only downfall is that it is nor clumping. I then tried World's best cat litter lavender scent which clumped nicely & also did not stick to my cats hair but it is on the pricier side. Best Cat Litter Ever

    By on

This is by far the best cat litter if you are looking for a natural litter that not only clumps well but clumps soft and not hard, is biodegradable, has just enough scent to neutulize odor and does not stick to the litter pan, then Vetbasis Herbal Lavender Scented Clumping Corn Cat Litter is what you are looking for. I find that there is little to no waste making it more economical. There is minimal dust and tracking for very easy clean up.

My cats love it, easy to manage

    By on

I've been using this litter for over a year. My cats love it. It's lightly fragranced, doesn't track too bad, and isn't dusty at all. I like that it's so clean, and lasts a very long time without smelling of urine (like some other natural litters I've used). When it's time to change the litter out, it is super easy to clean out of the plastic litter box. Refill with fresh litter, and good to go for several more months with top-offs here and there.

    Best litter!

    By on

I have tried "World's Best cat litter." It can't hold a candle to Vetbasis corn cob litter. "World's Best" has hard kernels, is dusty, and contrary to what it says on the bag, its clumps are too hard to flush down our toilet (we have a septic system). Vetbasis corn cob is soft on our cats' paws. It can be flushed (which is wonderful). The lavender scent is barely discernable. I will not use anything else. We have three cats, so cleanliness is my top priority. My cats and I love this litter.

    The best by far...

I love this litter. I have two cats and they went right to the box and no terrible odor whatsoever. This litter lasts forever! Will not go back to the cheap powder from the big box stores. You should try it—you won’t be sorry.

    I tried to like it!

    By on Top 100 Contributor

Had no problem with the cats using this litter, I put out a additional litter box and everyone stopped by to use it, didn’t have to mix it with the old litter they just went right to it! But...... I didn’t like the scent but I really have issues with scented litters but the reviews said that it was lightly scented so I gave it a try. So I had lavender scented poop and pee, not great at covering odors, tracked a lot but not only tracked but stuck to the floor too! Clumps broke up too easily to scoop them out, but I’ve seen worse I think I probably could of lived with that. Will keep searching for the perfect litter!

    Vetbasis best cat litter

Only cat litter we will use. Vetbasis has made our basement smell better and is easy clean up. The bag even comes in handy for disposing the used litter.

    Clumps Nicely

    By on

This litter clumps tightly; downside is you'll go through a lot pretty fast. Tracking was lower than a lot of litters, but not the lowest. For 3 cats, it's not cost-effective, but if I were babying one, I'd buy it!
